Further details to be announced today. https://www.dailymail.co.uk//HomeBuilder-scheme-25-000-gra

20.01.2022 With Stage 2 Regal Ridge construction commenced, there are some cracker blocks at the top of the ridge with dead flat build envelopes and views to die for.

18.01.2022 Stage 2 Regal Ridge is now available to buy. There are several cracker blocks that sit atop the flat ridge and afford spectacular views East over the town and north looking up the Canungra Valley. Took these photos today from the same spot.

18.01.2022 Mpire Homes are proud to announce that we are now building in the new Canungra Rise and Regal Ridge estates! Drop into the sales office to view one of the custom design homes we have on offer for a great price #Canungra #customhome #regalridge #canungrarise #goldcostbuilder

17.01.2022 With Stage 1 finished and waiting on the process of Council Plan Sealing and Stage 2 commencing construction, this aerial overview was shot earlier this january 2020.

16.01.2022 The Federal government's new homebuilder grant - who can benefit? Unless you are already planning to build a new house to live in or undertake a substantial renovation of your own home exceeding $175,000, you are probably not in a position to take advantage of the grant. Those already planning a new build or substantial renovation who have not yet signed a build contract can apply.... A new build requires vacant land of which there is a shortage of supply - which probably explains the jump in buyer enquiry we have seen for the remaining blocks in Canungra Rise and Regal Ridge. For Queensland First Home buyers, the grant together with the First Home Owners Grant and the stamp duty concession would result in a benefit of over $45,000 that will be available for the next 6 months.

16.01.2022 The rumour mill is working overtime with first home buyers being led to think that the Queensland FHOG is to increase from $15,000 to $50,000 on the 1st July next. WRONG. TRUTH is that the property industry is proposing that the Federal government introduce a limited number of $50,000 incentives nationwide to anyone who builds a new home with no price cap, and the government is yet to respond to this industry thought bubble. Not even a comment of reply has been made.... https://www.dailymail.co.uk//Australians-buying-new-home-r

14.01.2022 Vacant land sales are just going ballistic, courtesy of Scomo's Homebuilder Grant. 5 Howard Court, Canungra. Listed Friday and sold Saturday to a couple of very happy people.

13.01.2022 Regal Ridge Stage 1 titles registered today. Stage 2 under construction. Canungra Rise... Council have signed off on current stage. From here on it is just paperwork and process to have plans sealed as a prelude to title registration. Benobble Heights. Going through a setback. While going through the process of getting operational works approval, the development approval has lapsed forcing the developer and land owner back to the Planning and Environment Court to attempt to get the approval reinstated.

12.01.2022 First bunch of settlements this week in Regal Ridge and only a few blocks in Stage 1 still available since titles registered recently. Should be seeing houses start construction soon.

11.01.2022 Landscaping is underway in Canungra Rise. It will be good when Council eventually approves construction of the fire trails so they can commence.

08.01.2022 Is this rabbit warren type development a Covid 19 petrie dish in waiting? Canungra can offer greater dwelling seperation and actual backyards for the growing family or for those who don't want to be rabbits.

05.01.2022 First lots in Regal Ridge being prepared for a build start.

04.01.2022 Drone footage from last week of current stage of Canungra Rise almost finished.

04.01.2022 Regal Ridge in Canungra is getting close to completion. Still some ripper blocks available.

03.01.2022 The building has started in Regal Ridge

03.01.2022 Post $25k Homebuilder announcement, and before any legislation, agreement with the States to administer or even designing the application form, the vacant land market is in feeding frenzy mode. ANY vacant title registered or near registered block of land has buyers crawling all over it. AND, while the grant will last until 31st December, there is very little supply in our area of South-East Queensland, hence why buyers are jumping in now to secure a block before supply is exh...austed. In almost 40 years in the industry, I have never experienced anything like it. The appeal is mainly to first home buyers whose benefits including the free stamp duty to $250,000 land price, the State FHOG and the Federal Homebuilder grant adds up to around $47,000 of government assistance. BUT, all those buyers still have to get finance approved, so I am now working on accumulating a waiting list in anticipation of the fallovers. 03.01.2022 Since the announcement of Scomo's $25,000 housing grant (in addition to the State Government FHOG incentive) demand for vacant land has gone ballistic. This is no time to delay if you are considering building.
