24.01.2022 Whilst Canungra SS remains open tomorrow students and staff who have been in or reside the Greater Brisbane area since the 20th March must stay home and isolate. This includes children of essential workers. Please see email correspondence for more details.

23.01.2022 Parents and carers, For further clarification on attendance during the lockdown based on advice from South East Region Department of Education: Students who live outside the lockdown area but have visited the lockdown area, but not one of the contact tracing sites listed, and are well, may attend school.... Students who live in the lockdown area and have parents who are essential workers, and are well, may attend school. Any student who is unwell must stay at home.

18.01.2022 Covid Update from the South East Region Department of Education as per yesterday’s email: Any student who has been in the Greater Brisbane lockdown area since March 20 is to isolate at home from Tuesday 30 March 2021. This applies even if the student is a child of an essential worker.

They’ve had a great week, displayed beautiful behaviour, have all improved out of sight and are definitely exhausted Next week it’s the Year 4’s and 5’s turn, be sure to pack swimmers, rashie, thongs, towel, sunscreen, goggles and cap (caps can be purchased at school for $4)
