24.01.2022 We can all agree 2020 certainly has had a bizarre beginning! We may be out of the woods but were not home safe yet. Id like to extend my warmest wishes to all of our beautiful customers and our wonderful community! Many of you have noticed that despite the lockdown / restrictions beginning to ease, Canvas is yet to reopen. Part of this is because of the very real possibility of a second wave, which would mean restrictions will be tightened even more than before. Wed also like to assure you that we arent going anywhere, but without saying too much a change is as good as a holiday, and everyone loves a holiday! Stay tuned to find out whats in store for CC&P.

Pick ups will be ready by 3pm with delivery available for an extra $5. Orders delivered at 3.30pm. Orders need to be placed by 10am tomorrow (Monday) morning. Take the stress out of dinner and let us cook for you xx

22.01.2022 Wow! We were completely overwhelmed by the amazing response we had to our last post. We received such an abundance of donations we were able to make a massive amount of care packages to take out yesterday! Thank you u so much to Christine DSilva and your gorgeous kids for the home made biscuits and the notes. Julie from ClubBarham for dropping off a massive load of fresh veggies that wouldve otherwise gone to waste. Carol from The Barham Hotel for the donation of more fres...h produce and butter. Foodworks for donating loaves of bread and long life milk. Vikki Basset for your lovely home grown cucumbers and chillies. Kate from 12 good eggs for donating some fresh eggs. Carolyn Donnan for donating some pumpkins. Hope I havent missed anyone!! Its amazing to see what can happen when this amazing community comes together. Its wonderful that rather than going in the bin, this produce can go to into peoples bellies instead We will be doing another drop off next week. 21.01.2022 Hey everyone, Wed like to say a huge thank you for your continued support during these crazy times and take a moment to update you on a few small changes that we will be enacting from tomorrow. As part of the wonderful Barham-Koondrook community we take community safety and well-being very seriously so these small steps we believe will assist in keeping the community well and aid in slowing the spread of Covid-19. ... The most dramatic measure we are implementing is moving to accept only card payments for all purchases, this is becoming commonplace at many hospitality establishments and while we recognise the inconvenience this may cause we believe it will be one of the most effective precautions we can take. Keep cups will regrettably not be accepted during this time. Neither will BYO containers. This is a health measure many other hospitality venues have taken. Table water and drinks from the fridge will be collected for you by staff. Please be observant of social distantancing and stringent personal hygiene when in any public place We still have our Beat The Q app, which means you can order through your phone and just pop in to collect your order. Just search Hey You by Beat the Q in your App Store. We will keep you updated with our plans both online and in-store as we do our best to keep you caffeinated and nourished throughout the coming weeks. 17.01.2022 Some of our care packages that went out yesterday. We will be doing another run this coming week. Thanks to Julia Martens and Jem Boyd for your help and to Belinda Cruse for your donation of loo paper from the motel , that was definitely the biggest hit! We went to deliver to an elderly lady who lives alone, Jem handed her the box and when she saw the toilet paper she started crying and said she hasnt been able to get any for the past four weeks. So please keep that in mind ...before you buy that extra packet of something you really dont need, also remember to check in on your elderly or house bound neighbours and friends, you may have something to share that they desperately need. If anyone would like do donate any goods to go in our next care packages you can drop them to the cafe, Monday Tuesday Friday or Saturday 8.30am-1pm. If you have surplus veggies or fruit in your garden that would be great! If you know of any one in need please contact us, anyone who is house bound, elderly, unable to get access to supplies they may need. Look after each other xx See more

16.01.2022 Wow, what a week its been! Are your heads spinning as much as ours are at the moment? As restrictions tighten we want to assure you all that we are taking this seriously and continue to hold community safety as our top priority. Small businesses are up against it at the moment, its more important than ever to support your local, from buying your bread at Barham Bakery, to pizza from Royal Hotel Barham (NSW), your "isolation essentials" from your friends at The Barham Hotel ...and Barham Vines. With your continued support we can all make it through whatever this is together. A huge thank you to everyone for getting on board with our new policies regarding touch-less payments and refusal of keep cups/BYO packaging for food. The hospitality industry has identified these practices as likely points of transmission. Were doing our bit with our care packages (see our previous post ), extra precautions both in the kitchen and front of house and now were excited to be able to help you out at home! From Monday we are excited to offer Take Home Dinners!! Stay tuned for our menu, going live Sunday afternoon and take a load off while we cook dinner for you and the ones you love. 13.01.2022 Hello wonderful people, With everything happening in the world right now and with all the new restrictions and regulations in place, we here at Canvas have made the very hard decision to close our doors (not forever!) after tomorrow Friday 3rd. We feel this is the best decision at the moment as it will enable us to reopen when things get better- bigger and better. We also feel it is irresponsible of us to continue trading, people are being told to stay home (as we all should)... so we feel we shouldnt be encouraging people to come out to purchase from us. Im also making this decision with the health and well-being of my staff in mind. Come see us tomorrow, 8.30am-12pm for your Campos coffee fix. Stay safe everyone and stay home! Even though I’m sure the majority of you have worked it out by now Canvas will be reopening, but as part of The Royal Hotel Barham, and under the new name Royále Canvas. Same great coffee, same delicious food, same great staff (with some old faces reappearing) just in an exciting new location!
