19.01.2022 After our first win, I think its about time you get to start hearing about some of our amazing players. Let's start off with our two captains who lead the girls onto the field each game.

19.01.2022 Second to last game for our ladies and even though we lost the ladies held there heads high. Despite not having numbers at all they still played as hard as they could! Thankyou to our league safes Chris and Bridgette. Use ladies always play with your heart and it shows every game. Next week is our last game at home vs ormeau at 3pm try get behind and show your support for our Capalaba Women.

17.01.2022 Players of the week! Misty Dullahide and Kasey Bruce have been awarded players of the week by the coaches for their HUGE efforts in yesterdays game. With some strong tackling and running from both players these girls gave a 100% until the very last siren. Good job girls

15.01.2022 First win of the season for our girls. Come such a long way already. Time to kick some more goals next weekend

14.01.2022 Our page has been a little bit quiet but here is an update from the manager! Yesterday we had an awesome prize giving with the club and what a day. It was so very hard to pick for our awards this year and if we could of we wouldve awarded all the ladies with a trophy because every single one of use deserved one! Our top 5 picks for the year BEST AND FEAREST ... Chelsea Munday This lady came from union with no idea how to play rugby league but from game one shined every single game without a fault even when she was hungove little laugh between our team. We awarded it to Chelsea because she always played with heart and fire she is definitely one to look out for! BEST BACK Jesse Prescott Our Captain Jess was our leader and leading she did do. Always leading our team with high spirit on and off the field. Tackling unbelievable as tired as she would get she would still chase down and complete the tackle. BEST FORWARD Pk Meems This was a hard one we had so many awesome forwards but pk really shinned. Always made the effort to travel from Stradbroke Island for trainings and games and played massively on the field she was one of the teams main players running hard and tackling hard. MOST IMPROVED Kim Thelander All our ladies improved immensely but From your first game your game plan grew and grew your tackles got stronger your running got harder well done Kim. MOST CONSISTENT Melissa Birt Another award that was very hard. So hard had to ask the Vice President who he thought was most consistent and it was you his answer was because your always here for everything supporting other teams, trainings game day well done mel you deserved it. Theres are our five well deserved trophy holders for 2018 The new year is creeping up on us keep an eye out on our page for more updates.

10.01.2022 All smiles after the game. Women in league is about playing for the love of the game and the enjoyment of both teams despite the score. We may have finished low but our spirits were high. No one can break the Warrior spirit

10.01.2022 Although we may have been down numbers on the field, our spirits held us high! A lot of heart to play with only 9 players against a full team. Well done girls

07.01.2022 This photo shows it all how much of a good time we had on and off the field with the Ormeau Shearers Women team. Thankyou for a good last game you gave us and thank you for staying afterwards for a bit of food and laughs. Hey we didnt win on the field but we won the Boat Race

07.01.2022 The battle has begun for the Capalaba Warriors Womens Open team! Our debut season has kicked off and to war we have gone. We know the battle will be long and testing but we are Warriors and the fight will not defeat us. Our teams experience in league differs as much as our heritage and cultural backgrounds.
