11.01.2022 Wed, Mar 31, 2021 marks the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force. In 1971, just over a month before Keren Rowland’s body was discovered in the vicinity of the Air Disaster Memorial in the Fairbairn Pine Forest, the RAAF, a Canberra base est. in 1939/40, celebrated its 50th anniversary - what was reported as the biggest crowds ever seen in the capital at that time, turning out for it.
