23.01.2022 With the end of financial year here, it's a great time to use the tax advantage and make a donation to support palliative care services on the coast! www.capetocapeforcancer.com.au

21.01.2022 One thing I like about going for a long run is it gives you tie to thing. After a 6 hour run today I had some ideas about my run. Change from Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Sydney. The idea is to add Melbourne into the journey. 5 capital cities for cancer. 5CC for cancer. Can I get some input

21.01.2022 Donations are below my goal so as an attempt to get closer I have 5 pairs of shoes worn by me during my Cape to Cape run I will supply you with a letter of authenticity please make an offer

13.01.2022 WHAT"S NEXT I had a lot of time to think of this. As I ran through Cairns they were preparing for the Ironman. That looks fun I said and as I ran the bike leg I thought that it was the most picturesque section of road on the east coast and I have seen it all. So my next challenge is the Cairns Ironman. All I need is an entry, bike and a wet suite I think I have everything else. If you have any of these spare I could borrow for 12 months I would appreciate them

12.01.2022 It has been over a year since I started Cape to Cape. I am looking for my next adventure. in May there is a proposal to run the old Sydney to Melbourne. I plan to run this and it could e a fund raiser. Can I get some ideas

11.01.2022 After a name for my next run. This was suggested. What do you think Run 2 the Sun ! Rise above CancerAfter a name for my next run. This was suggested. What do you think Run 2 the Sun ! Rise above Cancer

10.01.2022 After the highs of completing the run and the lows from realizing it is over I have to consider the future. I did say I was going to do the Cairns Ironman but people have asked about a long run. Suggestions have been made West to East and around Australia. The thought had crossed my mind in both cases. Even though money is raised for a good cause the personal expense is grate. Not just the cost of the run but the loss of income for that length of time. As well as the mental drain for being away from home for so long. The work load for organizing the run is also large and hard for me to handle on my own. If I do undergo another race I don't think it would be before 2018 and I will need more assistance and financial backing. Keep that in mind as 2018 is only 15 months away. All comments are welcome

09.01.2022 Help wanted I'm doing another run in 2021 to raise money for the Cancer Council I need a committee of volunteers to help Message me if your in Every thing from fund raiser to social media

08.01.2022 It has been three months since I finished running Cape to Cape. It went so well it almost seemed easy. I am no elite athlete but running 5500km was almost easy but why? That is a good question. The only solution I have is that I planned it well. Looking at what I achieved was not just running 5500km but able to do it faster than it has been run before (to the best of my knowledge) but with only one support crew at a time, no corporate backing so I funded it out of my own po...cket and able to take 4 months off work without pay. Maybe I could teach this planning not just for running but for everyday life. My question to you all out there are there anyone that would need this help. This could be one on one to public speaking and how much should I charge. Any input into this would be appreciated. If you have any questions about my run don't hesitate to in box me See more

06.01.2022 10th and 11th of September I will be competing in the GNW100 a trail race on the NSW Central Coast. During this race a can have a Support crew and a Pacer for the last 73km. This is not essential as I have completed it with out them but id dose make it a lot easier. I will be looking at completing the run in 30hours. Is there anyone interested in helping out.

01.01.2022 I am now at home and this journey is over and my web sit will be coming down soon. Unfortunately for some their journey with cancer has just begun and most it will be tougher and unfortunately in some cases shorter than mine. Please think of these people and if you can afford it make a donation as every cent will help improve the life of these people. www.capetocapeforcancer.com.au
