23.01.2022 Hello Beautiful Friends of Playback. Thankyou to those who have been visiting this group. Time to pop a post in and let you know whats up. As one of the Founding Members Of Cape Byron Playback Theatre which began back in 1998, I was active until 2018. Twenty Years of Playback. The company has not been active since then. My life was too busy and something had to give. The company was down to 4 and the energy was not there for the others to hold it. That said Playback Theare ha...s gifted me many Life skills which I am integrating into my work as a Dream Builder Life Coach and Life Mastery Consultant. My sense of Play is never far from the serfice. It is my Super Power. Whats Yours? 19.01.2022 Hello out there. Thought it was time to say hi from this page . It's lovely people keep liking us. So I thought it was about time I posted something.Cape Byron Playback had been very very quiet over the last year or more. In fact long before COVID-19 and social distancing. Our company got down to four players beginning of 2019. This marked the beginning of my 21st year as a Playbacker , one the co-founders and the only original member still active and performing . It's ...been a wonderous journey. As happens , My life just got too busy with full time work, Single parenting, study and starting a business as a life coach . Something had to give. I kept telling myself until just about a week ago ,that much as I loved it , I was done. Then a lovely playback colleague from down south reminded me " Once a Playbacker always a Playbacker" Thankyou Gerry!!!!! Now that I've begun this dialogue you may well keep hearing from me . 01.01.2022 Hello lovely playback friends. Last Sunday we got together for a final play for this year.Its been a rather lean year but we hope next year to be more active and to share this amazing form of theatre with more people. I also had the opportunity last week to be part of a zoom conference of playbackers from around Australia and NZ. It's wonderful to get a reminder of the wider playback community.
