21.01.2022 Well its raining cats and dogs here in Busselton ATM , but we had beautiful weather up north a couple weeks ago . We did over 6000km and our fantastic camper performed brilliantly. Heres some pics for you.

18.01.2022 If anyone is looking for a site down south this weekend, heres one, awesome Park.

18.01.2022 YES ... we have reopened our doors. However, in line with the COVID-19 restrictions there are some conditions to be adhered to. You must firstly reside in t...he south west region. You must agree to maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times. Our camp kitchen has the tables/chairs spaced out accordingly but our recreation room remains closed. Our bathrooms will be cleaned and maintained at a high standard (which we believe they always are anyway). All bookings will be spaced out with at least 1 site in between them (and with the size of our sites this is around 15m on a standard site, and around 20m on a big rig site!). AND .... we guarantee that you will be greeted with a smile (and a woof from Doug)! #southernstarslife

14.01.2022 A few tips for travelers going north. We left Geraldton to Mt Magnet then the Great Northern Hwy to Newman then Karijini Dr to Tom Price. We are with Optus and lost signal from just outside Gero all the way to Newman. Newman does not have a caravan Park! Apparently they have been bought by the mining Cos. For employee accommodation. However, go to the visitor Centre (if you get there late theres a number on the door to call) and they are putting up travelers on the oval $20/n. Dales campground in Karijini Park was fully booked (as at 22nd July). Hope this helps anyone traveling up that way. Cheers

08.01.2022 Review of Summerstar Tourist Park in Tom Price. We had a lovely two night stay on a powered site here as a base for us to explore Karijini National Park. Our site has a concrete hard stand and pebbles/grass around it. They have a pool, laundry (machines take $1 coins), and good, clean toilets/showers. The camp kitchen is large with gas BBQs, fridge and microwave, kettle and toaster, but they only have one sink, which is unfortunate when they are busy. This is quite a large park and it was about half full when we stayed 21st-24th July. It is located just outside the Tom Price town, close to the base of Mount Nameless. Its quite peaceful except for the odd iron ore train you can hear in the distance. If you have any questions please comment. Thanks

04.01.2022 Our stay at RAC Monkey Mia was awesome. The facilities are great, from the huge camp kitchen, clean and spacious restrooms and generous site spaces, we loved it. Getting to see the dolphins each morning was just lovely. Before we left on our trip we purchased a "National Parks Pass" which gives you entry into places like Karijini, Millstream, Cape Peron and Kalbarri national parks, etc. however, it doesnt include the Monkey Mia Conservation Area. So be prepared to pay when you enter this area (see photo for charges).
