25.01.2022 Today we continued on with a spring theme and made flowers finished off with glitter. A nice spring theme for our windows at our entrance of playgroup. Join us wednesday for a fun activity planned. Dont forget you fruit, drink bottle and hat now that the sun is out more.

25.01.2022 Friday is red nose day so join us tomorrow (Wednesday) for some red nose crafty fun 9.30 to 11.30 please bring a piece of fruit and a water bottle look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!!

24.01.2022 Committee Meeting Wednesday after playgroup. Sorry for the short notice but would love as many of you there as possible, some important information will be discussed and need everyone's input.

24.01.2022 Come join us at Capel playgroup tomorrow (Wednesday) we are making Christmas Salt dough ornaments. New members always welcome first two sessions are free 9.30 to 11.30 don't forgot your hat, water bottle and a piece of fruit to share! See you all tomorrow

24.01.2022 Today at playgroup the kids had fun making things out of boxes and playing outside. We also had a special guest Shelly our lovely child health nurse gave a talk on toilet training thank you so much Shelly. **We will be doing an early bird special pay $30 before week 1 of term 4 save $5!!** Next week is our last week of term so will be celebrating with book week dress up as your favourite book character both Monday and Wednesday with an end of term party on the Wednesday please bring a small plate sweet or savoury to share new members welcome your first 2 session are free!!!

20.01.2022 The reading fairy Shire of Capel Libraries is having a teddy bears picnic on Tuesday 12th Jan. Come down with your teddy from 10am and we can make a little playgroup catch up also.

20.01.2022 We are looking for a Santa for our Christmas party on Saturday the 5th. If anyone knows someone who would like to be a Santa and hand out lollies on the day let us know.

19.01.2022 We were very lucky to have the Reading Fairy come visit us today for some songs and a story. All the kids had a ball and I'm sure some big kids did too. Thank you to the Shire of Capel Libraries for letting us borrow your amazing reading fairy for an hour.

19.01.2022 We welcomed spring today with some dandelion finger painting. Some had more than others with the paint we will be displaying them in the windows out the front along with more spring craft in the next coming weeks. See you all Wednesday.

18.01.2022 Thank you to Lucy for keeping bubs in cooking a bit longer so we could have our last session for 2020 with you running it. Playgroup for 2020 is done and dusted. Thanks to everyone who came along for the last week. See you all next year.

18.01.2022 On Monday 21st & Wednesday 23rd September we will be celebrating Book Week. We ask that your child dress up as their favourite book character and if you come to both days dress up for one or both its up to you. We will also be having an end up term party on the Wednesday too and all we ask is you bring a small plate to share and if you know someone who has been thinking of coming along to playgroup its a great chance to invite them along, who doesn't like a party?

18.01.2022 Captivate Capel is on Saturday 10th October. We will be having 2 stalls and require volunteers for both. The stalls will run from 2-4.30. We would also love some yummy baked goods to be donated for our bake stall. If you can volunteer your time and/or baked goods please pop in the comments below. We will also have trays for your goodies so no need to worry about how to package them. Thank you in advanced, we appreciate your love and support of our playgroup family.

14.01.2022 Capel playgroup needs your help we are looking for donations for the salvation army Christmas appeal. You can help us make sure we leave no one in need this festive season. Anything from Christmas items, tinned food or hygiene items anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated. You can drop your donations of to Capel playgroup or just msg our Facebook page and we can arrange to collect your donations.

13.01.2022 Today was fun and messy!! Was great to see dad's and enjoy some sunshine. We only have two weeks left of playgroup for the term, thinking of joining Capel Playgroup come check out what all the fun is about your first two sessions are free!!

12.01.2022 Hi All, Hope you are all enjoying the school holidays even if you don't have school aged children, I hope you are enjoying your playgroup holidays . If you havent already can I please encourage everyone to join our private group Capel Playgroup (Inc) we think its safer to post picture of our kids enjoying playgroup in a closed group. We will still be posting in this group but more advertising for upcoming events or what will be on at playgroup.

07.01.2022 This year's Captiate Capel is on Saturday 10th October and we will be having 2 stalls this year. 1 showcasing some fun we do at playgroup through sensory activities and our successful bake sale. We will be looking at some donations of bake good to sell on the day so please let your baking buddies know. We will also be after volunteers for the afternoon so if you could spare some time on the day would be greatly appreciated.

07.01.2022 Saturday the 10th October is the Captivate Capel and playgroup is having a bake sale. We would love some more volunteers to bake some yummy goodies for us to sell. If you would like to help us out please message us to let us know so we can tell you when and where drop off points are. If you need some trays to put your baked goods on we have plenty for you too we can drop off to you. We appreciate all the support we have been shown this far and look forward to a great day next Saturday.
