07.01.2022 Cape Landing wins Gold at the Decanter Awards 2020. We are delighted to share with you news of our success at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA 2020). Cape Landing’s Sauvignon Blanc 2019, was awarded a Gold medal and a rating of 96 points, making it the highest rated Australian Sauvignon Blanc at DWWA 2020 and the only Sauvignon Blanc from Australia to achieve the distinction of a Gold medal.... Our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 followed close behind with a Silver Medal and a rating of 94 points, and our Reserve Chardonnay 2019 brought home a Bronze Medal from its debut competition assessment with a rating of 88 points. We are thrilled with these results! What an honour considering 16,518 wines from 57 countries were blind-tasted by 116 wine experts from around the world, including 37 Masters of Wine and 9 Master Sommeliers. Recognition in the Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the most revered and prestigious accolades any winemaker, and any particular wine, can achieve. Special thanks to our vineyard management team, led by Matt Barling, viticulturists James Harris and John Standish, winemakers Bruce Dukes and Remi Guise, and all those from the local community that contributed working alongside us.
