25.01.2022 Another hot one this arvo with Aussie Hoops, thank you to all the kids that came down, you did an amazing job. Next week is our wind up. If you are not able to attend, could you please let us know. For those who can make it, please make sure you pack a change of clothes ... Look forward to seeing you next week!

Without your support we wouldn’t be able to keep Capel Basketball running in Capel.... We hope you all enjoyed it and look forward to the next one!

24.01.2022 Attention All Aussie Hoops Players!! We are bouncing back once again for another season. However this year it will be taking place on a new day, WEDNESDAY! Registrations will be open very soon, but please comment with your interest so we can guage numbers.... Season will commence on 19th October 3.00pm - 3.45pm and go for 8 weeks. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Thank you!

22.01.2022 Attention all Aussie Hoops parents, I have had an email this morning regarding a delay in the participation packs for the children who have ordered them. Unfortunately their supplier has not been able to meet the demand with the size 4 basketballs, however they are going to supply the orders with size 5 basketballs. I do apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause for your child. Hopefully they will arrive next week ready for week 3. If you have any questions, please ...feel free to message. 18.01.2022 Congratulations to all of our Aussie Hoops participants for a great season. You all did a fantastic job. There were some hot days, cooler days, days with lots of flies and also mozzies, but at no stage did those that made it to the sessions give up. Well done. A big thank you to the parents for bringing the children down each week - that alone can be tough at times! Last but not least, the coaches and parent helpers, your time and effort has been very much appreciated. Than...ks again, I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year. Kylie x

16.01.2022 I would like to thank the Aussie Hoops children today for their patience with me at the start of the session as we were low on helpers. You all did a great job. We only have 2 weeks left (my mistake, I thought it was 3!) with our wind up being Monday 9th December. We will have a mini session followed by presentations and a bite to eat. 15.01.2022 Did someone say Adult Competition? Yes that’s right, we are back for another season of basketball. If you feel like you have been stuck in a covid bubble and would like to increase your fitness, come down and have a run.... All fitness levels are welcome. We are taking registrations for teams and also individual players. The season will commence Monday 19th October and run through until March, with the summer holiday break. Games will be played at 6pm and 7pm. Get in touch with us if you are interested, we would love you to join in on the fun! Happy Basketball

04.01.2022 Good Evening Everyone, Just a little update. Aussie Hoops - If you have ordered a participation pack, they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Hopefully they will arrive and you can have them for tomorrow’s session. Payment is due now for all children. If you have not registered your child, you will need to do so before tomorrow’s session. Should you have any queries, please contact us directly, we will be more than happy to help.... Adult Competition - There are still a few outstanding fees, just a reminder that they are due tomorrow also. All monies will need to be given to our treasurer Chris Greenland. 03.01.2022 Tomorrow is the big day....... ADULT COMPETITION GRAND FINAL Come down to the courts tomorrow night from 6pm where we have 3 v 4 play off, then at 7pm our Grand Final! ... Watch 4 Beers Deep and Zach Attack battle for the basket. Sausage Sizzle and presentations after the game. Look forward to seeing you all there

03.01.2022 Just a reminder about our Club Dinner Fundraiser coming up this Friday night (13th) at the Capel Country Club. We have been fortunate enough to secure some local talent to play music for the evening, come on down and have a listen. People have offered to help out, we would love some donations of ie chocolates or wine to put with our raffles if you can. The food is all taken care of, however help in the kitchen may also be needed. If you can spare some time, please let us know.... We are looking forward to this as it is one of our major fundraisers, so come on down and show your support. See you there!
