23.01.2022 Calypso Crew are the headline act for this year's CapelFest and will get the festival atmosphere going with their Caribbean party sounds of reggae and calypso. Get set for the colour and excitement of Mardi Gras coming to life with their infectious rhythms and brilliant costumes!

09.01.2022 Well known Jester Jonathan de Hadleigh will rove through this year's CapelFest on Sunday April 1st, keeping the crowds entertained in the full tradition of April Fool's Day!

07.01.2022 CapelFest was held for the last time in 2012. It was decided by the committee to close the event after receiving no interest from the Capel community to form a committee for 2013 to run the festival. CapelFest attracted more than 10,000 people to Capel each year, showcasing the town and local wares to visitors and tourists and generating local expenditure. The CapelFest committee would like to thank everyone who has supported and attended the festival over the years.
