21.01.2022 Krystal Light Centre Capel would like to thank Mediums David Hayward & Ayleen Dixon for bringing us all together on Sunday with a philosophy touching on the Course of Miracles and how they integrate in our every day lives with family, friends etc. The Course of Miracles was channeled through Helen Schucman over a period of 7 years and was published through the Inner Peace movement and consider the Spiritualists bible. We thank you for your patience during these times and please note we will only be accepting 20 people at each service until there is change with how many we can have.

15.01.2022 Thank you so much to those of you that joined us at our Rockingham Centre on Wednesday evening for Mediums Ailz Smith & Phyllis Clifford. Ailz talked about a Ja...mes Van Praagh book called ‘Unfinished Business - What the dead can teach us about life’ in her address & shared stories of Spirit communicating with their loved ones left behind through Praagh. That when we pass, our death is preordained. We have no control over who should or should not be there to help with our passing and that we never die alone. Our Spirit family are always there when someone is ready to return home. Both Phyllis & Ailz demonstrated strong proof of survival with their Mediumship. 14.01.2022 Bertha Harris is one of the most famous figures in the Spiritualist Movement. Many scientific experiments were held with her to prove that the spirit world did ...in deed exist. Bertha travelled though out the world giving many people proof that life did live on long after death. Her accuracy was astounding, never wrong. She was given the name Battling Bertha for her readiness to defend any attack made on her convictions. She has worked with most of the famous pioneers of Spiritualism holding in depth seances under the scrutiny of Sir Olive Lodge, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and personally coached in her mediumship by Mr Ernest Oaten. Her Biography written by Maurice Leonard is well worth the time to read as you will learn true mediumship, responsibility and ethics which were so important to her journey whilst living. When I read her book many things have not changed as we see people who are told they are connected to spirit or they have a strong psychic connection, we see these people do a short course and enter in this world giving messages and the like with out any knowledge or training. The following is what Bertha felt about the world of mediumship: Mediums get up on a platform before they are ready. They need training and time to perfect their mediumship. Half of them have not even experimented with their powers and dont know what they can or cannot do. They have not learnt the difference between imagination and spirit intervention. A medium should not be allowed on a platform until she has disciplined her mediumship. ( I feel this is the same for those who work physically), a number of mediums come to me, after they have been working for a while and they are in a state of bewilderment. They have the faculty but are not sure what it is or even worse how to use it. People have the idea that mediumship is a gift but Bertha prefers to think of it as a faculty, and something that has to be trained. Bertha explains that she gets more help from spirit by admitting her limitations, then spirit always assist where needed. She trained with Oaten for most of her life and he was very critical of her work and she stated that she was glad of this as he taught her foundations that she adhered to all through her life. She also stated that to deceive those who were having readings or platform work and worked with deception, once you do that spirit will drop you, they cant be bothered wasting their time with frauds. When we are learning today, we are always learning whether mediumship or psychic abilities it is not how quick you learn but the understanding of the responsibilities, the knowledge and the time and years to be good at what you do. We can not learn it in a workshop. We all have a gift but we must learn to nurture it over a life time. Many people do weekend workshop or short courses and then charge people for something they really may not have grasped. I personally have seen girls who have gone on to do private readings after doing a short course on the internet and then realised that it was more than just pulling a card or two. Whether we are Mediums or Psychics we need to have that connection. Dedicated mediums spend years learning and honing their gifts and we never take them for granted. It is always or should be an honour to be an ambassador for spirit so if you wish to learn, learn from a dedicated teacher who has spend years in circles etc and have the patience to sit and be dedicated with your learning it is well worth the wait.
