17.01.2022 Hi everyone, Clubs Queensland has released an update from OLGR, Department of Justice and Attorney General allowing Golf to be played under stringent conditions... therefore our course is open to play. Please adhere to these restrictions and conditions to ensure we can continue playing golf throughout these times. Thanks Prez See more

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Chook run this afternoon for those wanting to play The clubhouse will only be open for the ladies toilet if any ladies need those facilities. And for payment of green fees ONLY... Although we are able to play golf again there are a few restrictions and rules we need to abide by. - No more than 10 people in a group - 1.5 metre social distancing rule - Preferably leave flagstick in hole when putting - preferably only one person per cart - NO ALCOHOL to be brought onto course. There has been questions about purchase and consumption of alcohol on the course and the reason for this is as follows; The golf course is considered part of the licensed venue therefore only alcohol purchased from the club over the bar can be consumed on the course excluding takeaways. Why can’t the club sell takeaways to drink on the course? Takeaways are not permitted to be consumed on any licensed venue which the golf course is part of. Hope this clears up why the club cannot sell alcohol for consumption on the course and remember if you are caught with alcohol on the course then you and the club could be fined and the club lose its license. Competition will continue on Sunday at this stage remembering the above restrictions and social distancing rules stay smart & stay safe everyone

15.01.2022 DON'T RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE! We are lucky to have the option to still play golf, albeit under strict new guidelines, so if you're thinking about taking a few b...eers or other alcoholic drinks out, THINK AGAIN. 08.01.2022 Dear Members & Guests, Below is the latest update from Clubs Qld. Golf Courses and Bowls Greens... Clubs Queensland saw the news last night and we have seen emails from Golf Australia regarding golf course being open for players. Clubs Queensland has yet to receive any formal advice on this issue from OLGR and the CHO and we have asked. Until such time as your course remains under your licensed area, please remember your club is IN BREACH of the directives of closure under the Public Health Act. We also ask clubs to understand that there is a liability cloud that is hanging over the issue of somebody contracting the virus from your club if you have actively encouraged a ‘ non-essential social gathering’ when there is an over-arching directive from the CMO and the Prime Minister against such activity. There is potential for a legal argument around ‘intent’ to be mounted and a possibility that you will not be insured if you were to be found to have flagrantly disregarded the health directives. We ask that you exercise sensibility and great caution and remember your community responsibility.
