The winner was to have the exclusive opportunity to perform in the festivals main program and receive one-on-one professional coaching and a recording contract. 22.01.2022 Its a sad day, with the news Allan Morgan passed away this morning. Allan was a great guitar player - he loved George Jones and was one of the brains behind the Capella Country Music Festival. While he sadly never made it to the festival, he will always be there in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to family and friends, from John Hallam and the Capella Country Music Festival family.

21.01.2022 ** COVID-19 UPDATE ** Firstly, how are you? How are you feeling about all of the information we are receiving about the coronavirus? The Capella Country Music Committee have held a meeting to discuss the current situation and we just want to reassure you that at this stage the festival will still be proceeding. ... We will be strictly following the advice of our Federal and Queensland Authorities and we will be implementing all safety measures recommended by them to ensure that your health and safety and our Artists health and safety is our first priority. Also just to reassure you, the Capella Country Music Festival is held at the Capella Show Grounds which covers nearly 25 acres. This means that there is plenty of room to spread out. The grounds also include numerous camping areas, no less than five toilet and shower facilities and there is plenty of open space under the Covered Arena where we can enjoy the entertainment in spacious comfort. Please keep your eyes on this page for further updates as more information comes to hand and we hope to see you all at Capella in May!

Our Committee has decided that in light of the current crisis and for the protection of our Fans, Artists, Sponsors, Volunteers and our Community, that it is best to forego our festival in 2020 and to focus on delivering a cracker of an event in 2021.... We would particularly like to thank and acknowledge all of our Artists. These extraordinary people do so much for our country - especially in times of crisis. It is now the country music communities turn to return the favour to this industry by simply purchasing their CDs online, joining in on their online concerts and engaging with them via social media. In addition we would also like to thank the amazing sponsors that offered to support us for the 2020 Festival. Many of these sponsors are Small Businesses who are the backbone of our economy and are also going to need our support during this tough time. We will be sharing all of their names and details with you shortly and we encourage you to use their services where you can and to offer an ear, should they need to talk. 06.01.2022 Since his early childhood, Jeff Brown has had a love for Australian Bush Ballad music, having grown up in a household where some of the great old pioneers of Australian and American country was the only music played. In 1997, at the age of 21, Jeff recorded and released his first album I Remember Gordon Parsons as a tribute to Gordon. Jeff’s talents were recognised when he won the Stan Coster Memorial Bush Ballad Award at the Fosters Battle of the Bush during the Tamworth ...Festival in 1998. This same year, Jeff toured the country with the legendary Brian Young Show for 4 months, an experience which helped mould him into the successful entertainer that he is today. 02.01.2022 What a great photo of LJH Promotions & Capella Country Music Festival Director John Hallam presenting Tracy Coster with her Dad, Stan Coster's Autobiography, hot off the press! Several months ago John and Tracy were chatting one evening when Tracy mentioned how many people had enquired about Stan's book. The problem was that the original publisher no longer existed and unfortunately they had all of the book's scripts and details. This got John thinking and he offered to tak...e Tracy's only prized copy of the book to his printing company to see what could be done to get this marvellous autobiography back in production. Fast forward a few months and with the help of modern technology, here they are today holding a far superior book than what the original was. The reproduced book looks fabulous with high quality paper and it is beautifully bound. After this pic was taken John said " It has been a pleasure and an honour to be associated with the Coster family and to be able to have this literature available again to help keep the ‘’Stan Coster’’ legend alive".
