22.01.2022 To my beautiful, loyal and very patient clients, I'm super excited to announce that I will be reopening. I will open Monday and Thursday afternoons from 1pm and Saturday mornings from 8am. I will only have one client in my salon at a time to meet social distancing requirements and I will be offering limited services. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being so patient! I will do my absolute best to cater for you all and fit you in as soon a possible however, I expect I will be busy for the first few weeks so I do apologise for any further inconvenience. 22.01.2022 To my Lovely Clients, It is with great sadness that I send you this message today. I have regrettably made the very hard decision to close Capelli Studio until further notice. With uncertain times ahead I am doing this in the best interest of my family, my own health and for each and everyone of you. ... It is extremely difficult, actually impossible to apply to the governments recommend social distancing in the hair and beauty industry. I can disinfect and sterilise all surfaces however if one unknowing client was to bring the virus into my home, I could become infected then could transfer it to other clients before showing symptoms myself. Not to mention the risk of transferring it to my own children whom I have decided to no longer send to school and isolate at home. Due to last nights latest announcement Hairdressers can remain open while the restrictions state all services are to be kept to 30 minutes. These restrictions are just not adequate for me to provide a quality service while keeping the required social distance. I'm just as sadden as you are by the situation and I know how important it is to look and feel good when things seem so uncertain. So I'm going to be able to support you differently through this tough time. 1. You can still purchase products from me (just message me what you want and I'll package it up, note: only paywave availble, and I'll message you a collect time) 2. Treatments - I've got leave in, 30 second and deep mask treatments you can put in at home to maintain healthy hair. On a positive note we will all have a bit of extra time to put in a treatment. 3. I will post tips and tricks on how to maintain your hair while in isolation. I truly appreciate your support and want to take this opportunity to thank you all! 11.01.2022 I would like to thank you all for your support and messages over the last few days. As most of you are aware the 30 minute rule has been lifted whilst other social distancing requirements are still in place. 09.01.2022 Stay tuned As we approach one month since I decided to close the doors to my studio, I want you all to known I'm thinking of you. For the first time in 40 days Queensland has recorded no new cases of coronavirus overnight. We are definitely heading in the right direction! ... Stay tuned as I'm hopeful to announce a reopen date soon, offering slightly limited services and limited hours. This will ensure I can make your hair look beautiful again while continuing to apply the governments social distancing restrictions.
