17.01.2022 CNC Waste Warriors. On Friday Ms Brennan's Year 9 Home Economics class and the Waste Warriors Committee completed a whole school audit of the outside rubbish bins. They did a great job of sorting all of the rubbish into recycle, redcycle (soft plastics), food scraps and rubbish. 108kg of rubbish was sorted with only 6kg of rubbish going to landfill. Next term students will be encouraged to use the new recycle and food scrap bins during break times. Thank you to Ms Brennan for this fantastic initiative and our newly formed Waste Warrior Commitee.
