14.01.2022 Our beloved mangosteens are flowering - the first flowers arrived on New Year’s Day ready to welcome 2021. The fruit should be ready by the end of April, so mangosteen fans should consider a visit between then and mid-June! We'll keep you posted on their progress...

05.01.2022 Our beautiful star apple trees are in fruit at the moment, so we wanted to share them with you! Star apple is a tropical tree of the Sapotaceae family, native to the West Indies, which can reach 20m. We grow two varieties, the purple and green - I love the look of the purple when it's ripened... cut it open and there's every shade from lilac to indigo in there. As I've posted on our blog before, the sweet, slightly floral taste is delicious but beware of the sticky latex under the skin which can be bitter (best to eat it with a spoon!).
