18.01.2022 Hopefully everyone is doing well in these difficult times it hard on all of us, but why not take your mind off what’s happening for a minute and look at what’s new from Terrain Tamer. So we all know that Terrain Tamer have parabolic spring for Toyota Hilux and 78/79 series Landcruiser, but they now have recently introduced parabolic springs for Toyota Landcruiser VDJ76, Mitsubishi Triton, Mazda BT50 and Ford Ranger. Parabolic Leaf Springs are different to regular springs a...s they contain fewer leaves and have a tapered parabolic design, hence the name. Terrain Tamer claims this design eliminates weight from the suspension system while providing a better suspension solution. Parabolic Leaf Spring set-up provides improved articulation and less friction between the blades, allowing them to compress and extend more than regular leaf springs before they touch. Just letting you all know it's that time of the year that Terrain Tamer 4WD are putting together their yearly calendar and we are sure that among our FNQ four wheel drive enthusiasts there must be some great shots of your pride and joy taken out in our Australian countryside. You never know your vehicle may get to feature in the Terrain Tamer 2020 calendar. If you like submit your photos to [email protected] or to the facebook page and we'll send them off on your behalf. Don't forget we only have til the end of the month.

13.01.2022 With the local racing season edging closer and restrictions easing bit by bit we are getting excited!! Feel free to join us at Cape York Automotive from 12.00 o...nwards this Saturday for an informal club day. There will be cars on display at different stages of the build, an engine start, dyno run, bbq, beers and like minded people to talk to. If your photo is lucky enough to be chosen, you'll receive your own copy of the calendar, and some extra goodies too! Requirements: - Photos must be landscape. - Let us know where the image was taken. - High-res photos only. - Vehicles only, no people.

07.01.2022 It is the year for special milestones - our business Cape York Automotive started 30 years ago. We started on the 4th October 1989 which was also Rob's birthday so it is also a special milestone for him as well (maybe I shouldn't say exactly what milestone it is).
