25.01.2022 Landed in Cairns safe and sound, connecting up to Horn Island #CY2K

24.01.2022 Day 2 - We're off again! The chop is throwing us around today. We've ended up in the drink a few times, but we're making progress across the Strait.

18.01.2022 We have arrived in Saibai Island and here is our official visitor sign in slip to prove it! Wooohooo!

16.01.2022 Well needed rest day today as we motor back to Horn Island for our flight to Port Moresby. We are all ready to smash it out in Kokoda - Photos and video to come #cy2k

15.01.2022 The 4 of us have arrived safe and sound on the uninhabited island of Nagir, 60 km north of the tip of Cape York. We've set up camp at the foot of Mt Ernest and are about ready to hit the sack for a much deserved rest.

15.01.2022 Another tough day in the office - 28KM down and another 2500 meters of elevation gain. Last day tomorrow where we will be finishing in Kokoda between 4 and 6PM - just 33KM! The hard work is done it's all down hill from here! http://connect.garmin.com/activity/930990892

15.01.2022 News about Bobby: "About mid morning on Day 1 whilst climbing up one of the day's main climbs, I began to experience pains in my chest and left arm. Thinking at first it was just from working hard I pushed on throughout the day. By the end of the day I was more then 3 hours behind the rest of the team and the pain was like nothing I have ever felt before - after 17 hours of trekking I was physically and emotionally broken... On arrival into camp after a short rest I phoned t...he emergency team from Covermore Insurance and after a discussion by phone with a nurse it was decided I was not to continue the track. Early on day 2 after seeing off the rest of the team I was air lifted to Port Moresby where I was admitted to hospital for heart and kidney tests. As I write this I have been released from hospital and I am in a hotel waiting until tomorrow when the team arrives back in Port Moresby. I am unbelievably devastated that I was unable to complete this challenge but I am glad I made the decision not to risk my health. A huge thanks to everyone from Covermore who have been incredible in ensuring my safety. I have no doubt if it wasn't for them I would not be as safe and healthy as I am now. Congratulations to the rest of the team on making it to Kokoda - you really are super human" - Bobby

03.01.2022 #wemadeit!! Sorry for not updating sooner, after completing the trek we were welcomed into the village of Kou Kou for a visit to their village and the Kokoda College for which the challenge benefits. Lots more to update when we get back to Australia this afternoon. Thanks so all our supporters for the motivation and support along the way.

01.01.2022 A little box of goodies for the boys, including a 120 page message book!

01.01.2022 Made it safe and sound to day 2 camp, punishing relentless swells with 20+ knot winds. Only 28 nautical miles to PNG, We have to make it by 1:00 tomorrow as Saibai is inaccessible during low tide. Lots of stories to share when we get back :) #cy2k
