14.01.2022 * FESTIVAL CANCELLED * We are very sad to announce that the 2021 Capricorn Film Festival (13-17 January) has been postponed due to the current COVID health crisis under restrictions from QLD Government. We understand that this will be difficult for many filmmakers, guests, local businesses, partners, and our team who were very excited to present our new expanded film arts event. However, the safety of our guests, community, volunteers and team is vital.... We intend to postpone the event till late 2021 early 2022, though will work to reschedule some festival events prior. For all short filmmakers, we will have more information in the coming month on a new date for CAPS Short Film Competition. For our guests who have already booked tickets, you should expect a refund in the coming days. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] and we will help as best as we can. From our families to yours, have a safe and well holiday season.
