23.01.2022 Some of Australian music's biggest names are uniting for the "Good Onya Mate" Rural Aid concert tomorrow night on Channel Nine and 9Now. A Rural Aid initiative, the concert will raise much needed funds and say "Good Onya Mate" to our Aussie farmers (and beekeepers!) who have gotten through an incredibly challenging year. Donations made during the concert will go to supporting farmers across Australia through Rural Aid's new Stronger Futures program, which is dedicated to helping farmers develop strong and sustainable futures for their families and local communities, as well as Rural Aid's disaster assistance program. 09.01.2022 We love this great winter recipe by beeuty @noashealthyeats for Honey Nut Crunch Granola made with our superfood Aussie Manuka... INGREDIENTS: 1.5 cups rolled oats 150g 1/4 cup almond meal... 1/3 cup cashews 1/3 cup walnuts 1/3 cup @CapilanoHoney Active Manuka MGO 30+ 1/4 cashew butter (optional to add an extra tbs) 2 tbs coconut oil 2tsp vanilla extract cinnamon & salt to taste 1. Preheat your oven to 160c and line a pan with baking paper. 2. In a medium mixing bowl, add your oats, almond meal and chopped nuts, stir them together. scoop out 1/2 cup of the mix and blitz it than return it to the bowl. 3. In a small microwave safe bowl, Microwave your coconut oil until liquefied, then add in your honey and microwave again till hot and a little bubbly (in small increments, of about 20 seconds each). Finally, add in your cashew butter, vanilla and cinnamon and stir till smooth. 4. Pour your wet ingredients over your oats & nut mix, using a spatula ensure the entire mix is well coated and sticky. Spread your granola out on your pan and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. 5. Once the timer goes off using a spatula, flip your granola gently pushing it together to form some clusters, let the other side of your granola bake for another 10 minutes or so , or till the granola is golden . 6.
