10.01.2022 The ACT introduced road rules ensuring motor vehicles kept a safe distance of at least one metre from cyclists last year and Wells said she'd noticed a difference on ACT roads. "Things are getting better in Australia with road safety, just hope that it continues with the Metre Matters passing laws in the different states." We support the Big Canberra Bike Ride and Amy Gillett Foundation in their goal to make the roads safer for cyclists with these laws.

06.01.2022 Canberra Off Road Cyclists are offering a 2 hour Come & Try Mountain Biking session for adults who would like to try out this great sport. REGISTRATIONS are es...sential on EventBrite. Tickets are $20 Sessions will be for two hours and will include instruction by our professional and qualified coaches as well as a short ride around the Mt Stromlo trails. You also have the option to book a bike to test ride on the day free of charge, thanks to our partners at The Cyclery. This Come & Try day is part of a broader program that will include a 5 week mountain biking development program for beginners, and a trail riding weekend in Tathra. Participants of the Come & Try day will receive first preference on program places.
