01.01.2022 Wagga Wagga’s Eunony Bridge has re-opened to traffic this morning after the completion of a $10.6M widening and strengthening project. Wagga Wagga City Council ...officially gave vehicles the green light to cross the new structure at 6.00am after line-marking and signage was completed. Project Managers Silas Darby (Wagga City Council) and Damian McConville (BMD Contractors) re-visit some of the complexities and challenges they have overcome along the way to delivering a wider and stronger bridge. The estimated total cost of the project is $10.6M and has been funded by the Federal Government ($4.9M through the Bridges Renewal Program) and State Government ($4.9M through the Fixing Country Roads fund).
