20.01.2022 *** Gold Coast Sewage Drain Repair *** This is part II of a recent call out to an investment property with a pesky blocked toilet. On our initial attendance we cleared the blockage using our high pressure jetter, located the cause, and provided a quote for repair. With approval to repair, we returned and were able to easily find the correct place to dig up the drain and find the pipe with the break in it. ... We exposed the broken sewage junction and replaced the section of pipe so that the tree roots could no longer cause an issue for the tenant. Prior to installing the new section of pipe, our plumber Brad ran the camera down the remainder of the drain to ensure there were no other hidden issues or further breaks. Luckily, this was the only break in their sewage drain. We don’t foresee any further blockages due to tree roots in this drain. 12.01.2022 Our plumber Brad attended this Gold Coast property recently to investigate a blocked toilet. Upon review we found the main toilet to be severely blocked and in desperate need of our attention! We initially tried to clear the blockage using a toilet pan auger but were unsuccessful in our attempts. This job required the use of our high pressure Jetter to get the blockage cleared. Due to access difficulties we needed to remove the toilet suite to provide access for the Jetter ...line. Gaining prior approval from the Property Manager, we were able to remove toilet (without breaking it), clear the blockage with the jetter and run our CCTV drain camera down the drain to identify the exact cause and location of the issue. Finding pesky tree roots entering the drain via a break in the pipework, we sent a quote to the Property Manager for required repairs, reinstalled the toilet and tested all works.
