06.01.2022 Coordinated by Ranni from Team Tugulawa, today we marked the Independence Day of Brazil, commonly called Sete de Setembro. Thank you to Claudio from Xango Capo...eira - Brisbane who shared the music, beats and language of Brazil along with Capoeira. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that incorporates dance and play, and we even got to try some moves ourselves! Claudio was helped out at the end by one of our Tugulawa Dad's who had all of the moves. Sandra the SuperChef kept with the themes of the day and for lunch and afternoon tea we indulged in some delicious Brazilian foods including Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pao de Queijo), Brazilian Chicken and Coconut curry and Brazilian Carrot Cake.
