07.01.2022 There will no shooting on Sunday and Mondays, the Range will closed until further advice from the Government. I have sent 2 emails one to Weapons Branch and the Minister for Police about Cat H shooters and for the people who have recently done a firearms safety course, i have not heard back from them as yet. Weapons branch are in lockdown, not answering any phone calls tried ringing our local police they just gave me the email address. But Weapons branch have posted this on...line so i have copied it to this page for Cat H Shooters. Category H Shooting Competition Participation Due to closures, recommendations to avoid non-essential gatherings and travel and other impacts arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Authorised Officer has deemed that Category H shooting competition participation for the period 1 March 2020 to 30 June 2020 may be considered interrupted for licence holders for reasons outside of their control. Accordingly, owners of registered Category H firearms will have the below reduced participation requirements for the 2019-20 financial year (prorated from 1 July 2019 to 29 February 2020). Number of Classes of Handgun Registered Number of Shoots Required One Four (normally six) Two Five (normally eight) Three Eight (normally 12) Four Ten (normally 16) Should a licence holder not be able to meet the revised lower number of shooting competitions for the 2019-20 financial year, a brief submission should be supplied when lodging a renewal application. Further information about normal participation requirements and the classes of handguns can be found here.

05.01.2022 We are wrapped up until 20 January but if anyone is wanting to give ipsc a try here is your opportunity. Merry Christmas and stay safe. Andrew

04.01.2022 We had a great day at the range yesterday which allowed us to do some pest eradication. A big thank you to Chris Carnell from C&M excavation and one of our club members for building our new trailer for moving the target frames. This trailer has been designed to be as low as possible to reduce lifting and save some back pain. Thank you to James Brady for the loan of his trailer whilst this new one was built. It will be back at your place slowing down traffic soon.... We are expecting a busy day on Sunday so we ask that everybody be patient and to arrive early as possible so we can get set up and shooting quickly.

04.01.2022 A big shout out to Andy from Andy & co towing for supplying and delivering the clubs shipping container and Chris from C&M excavation for levelling the area and moving it into place. The club can now safely and securely store our gear at the range and we are also working on a new trailer for moving the target stands. It was also great to see a busy morning at the range on Sunday with lots of new faces.... https://www.facebook.com/AndyCo-1622021928054496/ https://www.facebook.com/cmexcavation/
