These check-ups help us ensure your pet is staying up-to-date with their general health care routines. What’s more, paralysis ticks have a dangerous toxin that causes respiratory difficulty and paralysis. Some cat fleas, brown dog ticks and paralysis ticks can also carry diseases that can make pets or humans very sick, such as cat flea typhus, ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis. Sedation involves the use of sedative/relaxant medications to make your pet feel very drowsy, so they lie still for non-painful procedures such as x-rays. A general anaesthetic involves using a combination of drugs to ensure that your pet is completely unconscious and pain-free, so that they can undergo surgical or dental procedures.
