18.01.2022 Tappi e Bottiglie, literally Caps and Bottles in Italian, born in 2005 from Gianna’s, my mom, idea. Ironically, a life dedicated to wines in the family winery brought her to choose something freshness and liveliness, water. Quoting her: Running from the tap, flowing in streams and rivers, falling from the sky, I wanted pure water to be the standard of my more respectful and attentive new lifestyle. This is my objective today, a plunge into something different, like when we k...ids used to run barefoot along the gravelly shores of the River Brenta, then dive right in. That’s one of my earliest memories. My family worked in the concrete business then, making and selling the huge vats winemakers needed all over Europe and North America. Water was always a part of it! They’d fill those huge vats with water and we kids swam in them, too! Our earliest games and first laughter involved water. All the kids used to come over and play in the water. I shudder to think of the risks we ran! All my life I’ve surrounded myself with water, sticking my head in, running past the vats, streams in the woods, irrigation ditches, racing friends to get there first. As Emily Dickinson wrote: ‘Water is taught by thirst’. Let me add that it’s pure and simple life that flows on and on. Let’s never stand in the way of its energy! Caps and Bottles Australia arises from my mom Gianna, my sister Veronica and myself, BiancaViola, desire to start a new adventure in a country where nature is a big and precious part of it, sustainable lifestyles are awarded and fundamental and where water is an important and respected resource. Our is a healthy and creative small family business, we decorate bottles for filtered and tap water using artisanal techniques, all the graphics are designed in house and registered with copyright, like the bottles styles. We use only high-quality Italian glass and each product is handmade with care and love. We work with all Europe with both hospitality clients and private customers.
