25.01.2022 Great day today. As some of you may know I’ve been a bit crook and out of the brewery. Almost back to normal and managed to pump out a brew today. A Browny’s Brown. And while we are brewing a care package from our ex-brewer Browny turns up at the door. Magnificent beer from Beaver Brewery in Darwin. Just made my day. Good mates and support has got me back on my feet. Not just Browny but so many others checking in and offering help. Nice reminder of the good in this world.

23.01.2022 Great to have Mimi McIntyre back in the brewery for a few days. Since leaving us, she has worked at Ballistic Brewing in Brisbane and just before the world went mad took a job at a ‘notable historic brewery’ in Hobart. Mimi brought back her Little RIPA recipe and her new knowledge and put together a bigger, better Red IPA. All local grains, local hops and local girl. And we are launching it on FRIDAY 20th of November 4-10pm at our Monthly Tasting Bar. Onboard with us already is Tandy's Alehouse, Harlequin Hobart, Customs House and The Shipwrights Arms. 23.01.2022 For those that follow our evolution as a business, you would be aware of the role the book ‘The Brewers Tale’ written by co-owner Karen Brooks had in the early days. Well...... finally our friends in the northern hemisphere have published the book as ‘The Lady Brewer of London’. Released in the USA today, and will have its UK release in December. Very proud of the achievement. Cheers

21.01.2022 We bought some art! We were part of a photo study of the 2020 Lockdown on independent venues and small business in Hobart, by emerging artist Honni Cox. We now have it as a constant reminder that we are still in business because of our customers. Thanks you. Come see it at our Monthly Tasting Bar Friday 19th. 4-10pm.
