17.01.2022 Put together a little wrap up video of last weekend's bushfire fundraiser... Manjumasi boss atish headlined Melt's Bushfire Fundraiser at Subrosa in Brisbane on Sunday, January 26. Not only was it a huge afternoon and evening of tunes, but we raised a bunch of cash for those hit my Australia's fire crisis. Congratulations toMelt for hosting such a wholesome event; there was a real sense of community and support from punters and crew alike.

16.01.2022 Its National Action against Bullying Awareness day. . Bullying occurs for adults and kids alike; it is defined as an ongoing oppression over those less powerful through physical, mental or emotional abuse. This can be subtle; either way its not on. . I've been bullied, and, to my shame, i've bullied others.... If you're being bullied, reach out to others - this is not you're fault. Or, PM me and I'll keep in confidential. Im not a professional but I have my own story and can empathise. Also, I can link you to readily available online and phone call support. If you are bullying, just remember, even if someone is laughing at your jokes - it may be hurting them. But above all, being bullied by someone else, does not excuse bullying others. Again, as someone who can empathise with being a bully in the past, I'm totally happy to chat in confidentiality. Most importantly, Stand up to this stuff if you're seeing it - This is something I'm working on myself, and am trying to get better at. P.S. Captain Hydrate does not bully H2goGirl. As if he could... #BullyingAwarenes

13.01.2022 And thats a wrap! Earth Frequency Festival you were Incredible; I’ve been working towards rinsing Captain Hydrate out at this festival and I couldn’t be more chuffed with the result. Highlights include hydrating the Main Stage Dancefloor to my home boys Mood Swing & Chevy Bass as they premiered their full piece band, playing with H2goGirl at Melt take over of Subterranean, supporting John Chamberlain at the Earthpod Stage as he helped close out the festival with an absol...ute banger Set, and MCing at Wonky Town with The Wonky Queenslander putting on her best show yet. But the biggest highlight was test running The Captain Hydrate Show at Love Camp on Sunday. Writing, directing and producing a 30 minute show has tested my limits, but we pulled it off and I’m absolutely stoked. A massive thank you to the amazing audience who turned out in support, to Earth Frequency, The Wonky Queenslander & Love Camp for booking and hosting us, and to Jameson Family Photography and Liam Butterz for helping create the Captain Hydrate puppet, and to our Performance Co-ordinator BREE for looking after us so well. Lastly, thank you to my team: CHÂUX Maison as WATER WIZARD (and Associate Writer / FX Operator), Jake BustaFlux Bowman as HYDRATES LEGS (and Sound Engineer / Filming), and of course Ellie Blossom as H2goGirl. Looking forward to seeing where this show takes us; for now, heres a little snippet :) Congratulations to Paul Abad, all the crew, artists and punters for an incredible festival.Hope everyone is safe and recovering well.
