20.01.2022 Captains Flat Community Preschool Association would like to thank the team at Stellar Bathrooms, Jeanette at Rivoland Tiles and Duane at Top Shelf Joinery A.C.T for your kindness and generosity in helping us with this project. Our little preschool really appreciates your help. Thankyou!!! The money was provided to us through the Early childhood Education Directorate’s Quality Learning Environment grant at the end of 2019.

16.01.2022 Thanks to the generosity of the Bungendore Community Bank our little preschool has been able to upgrade the large windows and doors on our north wall!! With cold weather approaching we are looking forward to our new double glazed windows and doors keeping the draughts out and reducing our power usage. Thank you for your support Bungendore Community Bank!!

14.01.2022 Help us, help the littlest members of our community by way of a fun night out. Trivia @ the club this Saturday 23rd nov. 6pm start........ Cost : $10 per person or $50 for a table of 6. Kids most welcome.... For ease of setup on the night, it'd be great to have an idea of numbers ASAP. Please let us know if you're attending. You can do this at the preschool, primary school or at the club.

14.01.2022 This is an update in regards to the continuing COVID-19 situation. Our preschool remains open under the advice of both the NSW department of education and the NSW department of health, and will do so for the remainder of the term unless advised otherwise. We would like to assure you that we have policies and procedures in place at preschool, and have also been keeping families aware of any changes regarding the situation at hand. 07.01.2022 Thank you to the NSW Government’s community building partnership program we are now able to do a much needed upgrade to our hot water system and replace it with a more energy-efficient one!

06.01.2022 We have recently been informed that Captains Flat Public School will be non operational tomorrow, Monday 3rd February due to bushfires near Michelago, Jerangle and Bredbo. Our preschool policies state that preschool will close if the fire danger rating is catastrophic, or on advice of the local RFS. We have spoken with Tom, the Captains Flat RFS captain, and he has said he doesn't believe that preschool is in any danger from the current fires tomorrow, and that there is no need for preschool to be closed tomorrow. We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy another day of preschool with us tomorrow .
