15.01.2022 SORRY HAVE TO HAVE A RANT. I experienced the WORST customer service last night at a newsagent near me, I don't want to mention the name of the store because I'm not in the habit of publicly trashing people or business' (Even if they DO deserve it).... Last Thursday afternoon I bought something from this newsagent. I paid cash for it. I took it home and found out it didn't work. So last night less than 24 hours later I took it back to the shop and asked if I could get a refund. The girl in the shop told me NO even though I still had the receipt. I asked if I could get a FREE replacement instead then. Again this person told me "NO." So I demanded to talk to the manager now as Im really not happy and I explained that I had just bought the item had got it home and it didn't work. The manager just smiled and told me to my face that I was "OUT OF LUCK." No refund. No FREE replacement. Grrrrrrrrr. I'll tell you what...I am NEVER buying another lottery ticket From them ever again.

03.01.2022 Cpt Softserve GETS BUSTED AT RBT Yesterday I posted about the fantastic night we had at the Baldivis Cauldron Jet Sprint Racing. Well, on the way home after the event it happened... Just after we left the freeway heading South and turned onto Safety Bay road for home Jane and I saw a blinding array of flashing blue and red lights. The immediate thought was that there had been an accident ahead.... Then as we drew closer it was apparent that it was a random breath testing unit. As we slowed down we were waved through to the second officer. As I pulled up I said to him "Oh for goodness sake it's Mr Whippy and before you ask what I have had tonight........I have had a double choc dipped with nuts, followed by a single Sherbet washed down with a lemonade chaser. He said the double choc was maybe one too many and asked me to blow into the bag. I told him the last time I had to blow into the bag my false teeth fell out.......but he insisted. So I took the top denture out and asked him to hold them while I had a good blow...(there is a line there somewhere) good job he was wearing rubber gloves. He was not impressed. Anyway, as I was holding up the revenue making exercise he capitulated and finding nothing on on the machine except a couple of smears of chocolate he waved me on and wished me good night. See more

03.01.2022 Rockingham City Football Club will be playing in the NPL WA, the top division of WA soccer, next year after being crowned State League Division 1 Champions. They'll celebrate promotion with a game against Perth Glory at Lark Hill next Wednesday.

02.01.2022 Went to the doctor the other day and he said I needed some more exercise. He told me to walk round the block TWICE a day to increase my circulation, well I have been doing it but dont feel any better.
