22.01.2022 Design Inspired by Nature. This design solution was done originally because the glass was existing and there were a number of ugly silicone joins in the glazing that the client and I wanted to hide. Adding the vertical timber battens to both sides solved this issue. However we still wanted to soften the harsh repetitive feel sometimes timber battens can create, to stop it feeling like you’re in a jail cell.
