23.01.2022 "10 years worth of memories have all led up to this one moment. From travelling all over Japan, moving in together, and having our original wedding plans stripped away. 10 years of growing up, but never growing apart. You are my everything and cannot wait to meet you at the alter and call you my husband. With love, hugs and kisses, and a promise of a lifetime together, your future wife, the almost Mrs Aileen Dunshea Having been one of the first weddings to be rescheduled at ...the beginning of the year, I (Cyron) stood in awe next to my brother as best man, as Aileen walked down the aisle. It was a surreal moment for all of us as the two had made the decision to get married despite all the uncertainty, changes and sacrifices they’ve had to overcome; because they truly believed that love conquers all. Take away all the glitz and glamour of weddings and all that was left was to commit themselves to each other for life. And that was the world to them. Words cannot explain the utmost joy all our family and friends had for these two as we witnessed the two exchange vows at the alter. It’s been a long time coming but it really is just the beginning of a new journey together. We’re all immensely proud of the two of you and looking forward to witnessing the love and joy you’ll bring together as husband and wife. 07.01.2022 One of my videography idols told me that of all the weddings he had ever filmed, the most memorable wedding he had ever shot was his sisters. So when my sister got engaged I absolutely jumped at the opportunity to shoot her wedding. I think every person I knew tried to talk me out of it, "don't you want to be a participate in the day, not shoot it?" but I was adamant. "I prefer to shoot anyway." I distinctly remember waking early that morning, not excited about my sister's bi...g day, but insanely stressed trying to set up all the livestream gear and manage the team. When we got to the ceremony every single moment I wanted to feel kept passing me by. Alyssa Paragas walking down the aisle, Raymond Paragas in tears as she walked down. Two of the closest people in my life experiencing these insanely monumental moments, reduced to pixels on a tiny LCD. Me, hell bent on making sure the exposure and focus were right, setting up for the next shot, until there were no shots left to set up for. They kissed, they exited. It was all captured, but it wasn't at all experienced. This wasn't what I wanted. I remember being sad as I drove home. And then I got to editing. There's a magic to video that we always know but sometimes forget. In a world of instant replay and taking videos of performances whilst at concerts; when you watch everything you've recorded, sure you might not have lived it in the moment, but you get to hold on to that little feeling just a little bit longer. And so as I got to trudge through the footage, and cull their speeches. And replay and replay and replay, I've never cried so much editing a video in my life. Had i had a choice to do it again, I'd probably have chosen against shooting their wedding, but by golly this was an unforgettable piece to edit.
