25.01.2022 On a random note something i love about Facebook is that you can make automated posts for the upcoming days so that you dont need to stress about posting each day! This is something i definitely need to implement more into my business. Extended Family Session// Over the weekend I got invited out to Emma's gorgeous property to take some extended family portraits. Emma messaged me and explained she had a very large extended family that she wanted to get everyone together for t...here Nonnas 80th Birthday. What a beautiful present, family and property. As many of you know who have booked through me previously, I am not a 'posed' photographer but do like to get these at the start of the session as i think there perfect for canvas prints around the home! 21.01.2022 Reminder// Just a quick reminder that if you or anyone in your family has had a runny nose, sore throat, cough, are feeling unwell or you have travelled to a hotspot in or out of Queensland to please be honest and reschedule your photoshoot. For anyone who has booked a photoshoot in the studio, I will be wearing a mask to protect myself from possibly getting ill as I have a low immune system myself and have a family of my own to protect. 20.01.2022 Miss Delilah Mumma had to jump in for some photos as Miss Delilah wanted mummy cuddles. Hasnt she grown up so much since her last lot of photos in the studio. 17.01.2022 Today I photographed my last photoshoot of 2020, which the family has asked to keep off social media so i thought i would share this cutie again. What a wild ride of a year it has been. I have finally got all my timber boxes in so I will be sending those out over the next couple of days. Weve received a few messages asking if we will be holding Boxing Day sales - YES! We will be holding a Boxing Day Sale from 10am-4pm Saturday 26th December 2020. We will be closed from the ...27th of December - 10th January to have some much needed family time. I will still be taking bookings during this time, answering messages in any down time I have and delivering any parcels that arrive for my clients. Please remember for all those booked in for sessions next year that if a deposit hasnt been paid, there is no booked in session and all sessions must be paid in full before your session. Thankyou so much to each and everyone of you once again for all your love and support in 2020! 13.01.2022 Hudson// The gorgeous Hudson only a few hours old. I absolutely love capturing new life. Fresh 48 Sessions are one of my most favourite sessions to photograph. To be able to capture such precious details of bub that a week later will change. You wouldnt think a baby could change & grow so much in a week but trust me they do.... Congratulations once again! He is absolutely gorgeous.

13.01.2022 ITS OUR THIRD BIRTHDAY! Today marks 3 very special years since I officially opened Captured Memories Photography. I cannot thank everyone enough for your love & support. I have learnt so much over the last three years, grown so much within my business and I am so excited for what 2021 brings. There will be new collections, a new website, the beginning of a maternity client wardrobe and many new mini sessions throughout the year. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for your suppor...t! Who wants to see a before & after of this stunning image of Sabrina? The sky was washed out and the dress is actually a dark magenta. Sabrina modeled some of my maternity wardrobe that I will also be adding to next year. At the end of the session Sabrina said to me 'If i was having a girl, i would choose this dress instantly', which of coarse got me thinking, well ill just make it blue seems your having a boy. 11.01.2022 Miss Mabel didnt want to sit still for her session in the studio the other day because what one year old does when theres so many pretty things to play with but towards the end Mabel did this as to say 'Is this what you wanted Jess?' It was such a funny moment and she knew it too. So much cheek! How adorable.

11.01.2022 Important Information || Please read! First of all id like to say a massive Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I am awaiting some stock for my Christmas Mini Sessions and then i will be releasing them as soon as i have everything to set up my themed Christmas session. Now the exciting news (Exciting news for my business, I am absolutely gobsmacked!) Besides a couple of days I have put aside for my Christmas Mini Sessions in Nov.../Dec, I AM FULLY BOOKED UNTIL MID JANUARY 2021! You guys, I am feeling so blessed and so very loved to be able to even type that! 10.01.2022 On the 5th September my sister in law got engaged! Yesterday afternoon on the way home from our Fathers Day lunch I asked Ashleigh and Jo if they would like some quick snaps to announce there new exciting news on social media. Finding shade in the middle of the day was the fun part but we found this location and i love it! When Ashleigh & Jo shared the news with us on her birthday, I did admittedly cry happy tears like a baby, and while editing and every single time i think... of there special day. 09.01.2022 These timber keepsake boxes are something every wedding couple receive from me with their images along with a USB. Its such a beautiful keepsake for all your special images. Next year, I will be having these on my website as an add on so that anyone that wants one can have that as an option. One of the many new things to come in 2021! Merry Christmas to all my beautiful followers for tomorrow. I truly appreciate you all. You've given me my dream job and have made my small family so very happy. 08.01.2022 This is what happiness looks like... Ange & Cody renewed there vows for their 10 year anniversary. There were lots of happy tears, inside jokes and so much laughter. As we come to the end of the year my posts may start to slow down as I will be spending some very much needed time with my family. My kids have 4 weeks off as their kindergarten shuts down over the Christmas break. I will still be responding to emails and bookings over this time. ... I still have a few more photoshoots coming up before the end of the year and I'm almost all caught up on my editing. I say this alot, but thankyou all once again for choosing me to capture your special memories. 05.01.2022 Happy Weekend// Its been a year since ive seen this gorgeous little boy and his parents! He is so full of energy and smiles. As many of you know who have booked through me previously, if possible i like to keep the session moving. If one of your babies isnt happy sitting for a 'posed' photo we will get up and move, walk, tickle them, hug them and spin around. I always get posed images first and then use the rest of my session to let the kids run and just capture the pure joy ...in them running around or tackling mum & dad. Letting the kids run free also gives me an opportunity to get some updated photos of just mum & dad as well. When looking for a photographer for my own family, I scroll through all of their photos to see if there style suits what im looking for. If there a posed photographer or if they are a natural posing photographer and of coarse i love a photographer that is super friendly, easy going and great around my kids. If you've had a photoshoot previously (even if its not through me) what is something you've loved throughout your session? When booking a photographer, what is something you want your photographer to have?

04.01.2022 IM SO EXCITED! How gorgeous are these baubles from Confetti & T ! I wanted to add some colour and something different to my Christmas tree and wow these are stunning! Confetti and T is a local company that offers confetti poppers, baubles, gender reveal poppers, diffusers, vow cards and they are all environmentally friendly! 03.01.2022 Happy Wednesday//PLEASE READ. Some of you have noticed my boost in posts which means a boost in business! As many of you know who have booked through me previously, my turnaround time is very fast. However, with the influx of many new faces comes a longer wait time for edits. My normal turn around time for albums to be delivered is 2 weeks (besides weddings) however at the moment in this very busy season it will be around a 4 - 5 week turn around time. At the moment i have ov...er 15 albums to edit. I appreciate all those that are being super patient and understanding at the moment. If you havent heard from me and its been 4 weeks please give me a message and i can give you a rough estimate on when your album will be finalised. For those of you that dont know, I am a mumma of 2 young children. I edit as soon as I am home up until all hours of the night perfecting each and every photograph but at the same time I still need to spend time with my babies who are growing by the second.
