19.01.2022 Just over three months until they tie the knot! Also, how am i almost 30 and only just learning the history of tie the knot?!

11.01.2022 We have been attempting to do their engagement shoot for months, but their living some 900kms away kept kinda getting in the way. We finally did it on Saturday & it was a beautiful mix of fun and the most gentle, vulnerable moments. I never take it for granted when people allow me to capture their truest selves, their hearts on their sleeves and their emotions on full display.

06.01.2022 I got to feel this sweet bump yesterday and still felt in awe that the sweet baby inside won’t be in there much longer. I don’t think i will ever get over how beautiful pregnancy is and how amazing our bodies are. I may also not ever get over how ridiculously beautiful this family is.

04.01.2022 I am so proud of this boy. We’ve been having a lot of talks about how even though some things are hard, we can do them anyway. Going to kindy has been hard for him; despite enjoying it once he settles, he is struggling with the separation. This morning i watched him as he quietly cried - on the way to kindy, lining up to go in, washing his hands, putting his bag away and doing everything he had to do upon arrival. It was hard, but he was doing it anyway. I comforted him and r...eassured him he could do it, he just had to get through this hard part. And i watched his quiet bravery as he asked his teacher if he could stay with her while i left. I am so grateful for his beautiful teachers, who are a source of safety and comfort and fun and a million other wonderful things. I am grateful i can leave him knowing he couldn’t be better cared for. And while it might feel easier on our hearts right now to avoid kindy, i know it’s building a beautiful resilience in him each time he goes. And i love that when i pick him up in the afternoon, he is always smiling and not quite ready to leave. See more
