23.01.2022 It was a a genuine shock and honour to have been awarded the Portrait Grand at WPPI this year. The WPPI portrait category is well known to be an extremely competitive category with some incredible work entered and this year was no exception. Ive been shooting portraits all of my career and never had the courage to enter a portrait image in any award. The winning image of Domenic is part of a series Im currently working on inspired by classic vintage portraiture. Ive always... been known as the wedding guy and have enjoyed success over the past 23 years and became comfortable competing in that genre. This year, I stepped out of my comfort zone to enter this portrait.
