13.01.2022 Over the past few weeks we have had a lot of questions why dont you have more tables in the shop? why do we need to sign in? why cant we sit at a dirty table? ... hopefully this will answer these questions with the new rules we are required to put in place procedures to make our cafe a safe dining place for you these rules include: all food venues must have a registered Covidsafe plan and the business has to be registered. The business by law has to record names and contact details for 28 day to give to contact tracers should an outbreak occur at the sit down venue The premises must maintain 1.5m between all tables All cafe/ restaurants / sit down venues in NSW must have a Covidsafe Marshall on at key times if they have under 250 patrons full time if over 250 patrons A business can be fined $11,000 and an individual $1,000 for not complying tables and chairs must be fully cleaned and sanitized before the next patron can sit at them. 1 person per 4 sqm allowed in the premises at any one time (which allows us 11 customers) we have hand sanitizer at the counter for customers to use While i understand that these are frustrating times for everyone please please please be nice to all the hard working people in cafes, restaurants and customer services, remember we didn't make the rules but we do have to abide by them to help keep you safe.
