For everyone attending the Downshift Melbourne Meet ...this weekend, here's your chance to win some shiny new hardware for the pool room! Downshift has asked our team here at Car Audio Show Off (CASO) to run a full car audio competition on Saturday, and we have 18 trophies up for grabs. Our format is pretty easy and user friendly, so if you have a 'system' installed in your pride and joy, bring it to the main CASO tent. We will be judging your system in 3 main categories and you can enter as many or as few as you choose for just $25 LOUD = as the name says, how Loud can your stereo play music (5 Classes + 10 Trophies) CLEAR = let our judges sit in your car and evaluate how accurately it can play the most challenging music tracks (3 Classes + 6 Trophies) SHOW = our judges will be looking at the overall 'theme' and installation/fabrication techniques used in your stereo install (1 Class + 1 Trophy) ...and then there's the Big Kahuna... ULTIMATE SHOW OFF = the Top Scoring vehicle across all 3 categories, prove to everyone that you have the LOUDEST CLEAREST and BEST LOOKING car audio install!! We have been so lucky to be offered FREE ENTRY to vehicle and driver for any CASO display vehicle for SUNDAY only. All others passengers will still have to pay standard spectator fee. ... 11.01.2022 So here is the information for the Downshift meet this Saturday. We will be set up with the DJ. We have limited space around us, please let us know if you are coming. For the loud cars when you are not demoing for the crowd it would be good if you could tune in to the DJ. We will let you know what fm station on the day.
