24.01.2022 It’s Jacaranda season! The Jacaranda trees are in full bloom in Grafton NSW and how pretty do they look next to this Royal Flair Van Royce. Grafton is the home of the annual Jacaranda Festival and whilst the festival didn’t go ahead this year, put it in your diaries for next year. It is a spectacular and memorable sight that is like something out of a dream. Street after street of purple blossoms - like a purple freeze frame fireworks display in the sky. The purple blossoms ...start to show themselves in early-to-mid October. By early November, the roads and footpaths are carpeted in fallen purple blossoms as the Jacarandas prepare to don their lighter, green summer outfits. It’s a sight not to be missed. 23.01.2022 Red earth. Blue skies. The rugged outback. The Gawler Ranges made the perfect destination for the Vaughan Family’s first trip with their new off-road Royal Flair Razor XT. Gawler Ranges is found in South Australia located on the Eyre Peninsula about 380km north-west of Adelaide and about 48km north of Wudinna. When driving through the Gawler Ranges it is difficult to comprehend that the gentle and peaceful hills were the result of powerful volcanic activity millions of years ...ago. We recommend exploring the stark white salt lakes of Lake Gairdner National Park, walking through fields of wildflowers in Spring and discovering the vast granite outcrops and the majesty of the Organ Pipes. You can also find Sturt Desert Peas there South Australia’s floral emblem! And if you look carefully you may even spot the crimson mallee and the yellow-footed rock-wallaby. Credit: M. Vaughan

20.01.2022 Take a tour with Bill from Royal Flair of the Razor XT. There is so much to love about this caravan - check it out!

12.01.2022 Look closely - can you see the Royal Flair Aussie Mate in the cloud of red dust! Free to Explore have just arrived in Coen and took these photos along the way. Coen is a small settlement about half way between Cairns and the tip of Cape York. It lies inland on the Peninsula Developmental Road and is a popular stopping point when travelling to The Tip. Coen owes its existence to a gold rush and has a museum in the Old Heritage House which contains many old mining relics inclu...ding an ore stamper and a steam engine. There is a great free camp 3km north of Coen called The Bend. You can park your caravan just metres from the Coen River and wade upstream to discover refreshing waterholes. The Bend is spacious and grassy and the perfect place to sit back and relax or grab a pair of binoculars to watch the birdlife. Facilities are limited to a drop toilet, fireplaces and rubbish bins and there are no time restrictions on your stay. 11.01.2022 Add Pildappa to your list - look how spectacular it is! The Vaughan Family have recently ventured there with their new Royal Flair Razor XT. Pildappa is a rock with the highest and longest wave formations on the Eyre Peninsula, rivalling those of Western Australia's famous Wave Rock. It is located 15kms off the A1, with access to the rock through the town of Minnipa. The highest waves are near picnic areas - one on the northern side and one on the southern side of the rock.... Long waves with platforms occur along the south eastern end of the rock. Pildappa offers beautiful views of the surrounding farming land, and an unbroken view of the Gawler Ranges and Blue Sturts to the north. Credit: M. Vaughan

10.01.2022 Free to Explore are adventuring on the Cape York Peninsula and took this photo at a free camp near the Old Telegraph Track & Twin Falls. We LOVE the red dirt - especially when the caravan is fitted with a dust suppression system like the CaraFan Sahara unit. Designed and tested for Australian conditions, the fan creates a POSITIVE pressure inside the caravan whilst driving to keep dust out. Free to Explore have the Royal Flair Aussie Mate - the ultimate off-road caravan. It... comes standard with the CaraFan Sahara. 09.01.2022 We love following the travels of Free to Explore. They are now in NT with their Royal Flair Aussie Mate.

09.01.2022 What a sensational sunset! It was captured by @freetoexplore.co earlier this year at Trinity Islands. Trinity Islands is a unique, 108 acre nature-based tourism park, situated on the Burrum River, 30km from Hervey Bay. The park is set amongst the natural beauty of one of the most stunning regions in the world the Fraser Coast. Trinity Islands is comprised of three private islands that are surrounded by a private 11 acre lake. Simply sit back, relax and let time pass you b...y as you take in your surrounds, or choose from a range of activities including catch-and-release fishing in the lake, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. You can take a swim in the lake and there are nature walks throughout the park to catch sight of kangaroos and a variety of birds and animals through the bushland. Plus there are bike tracks to explore. Follow the adventures of @freetoexplore.co to get inspiration for your next trip.

04.01.2022 Love this shot of a Royal Flair Razor XT taken at Waitpinga Beach. Waitpinga, an Aboriginal name meaning home of the wind, is about 10km southwest of Victor Harbor in South Australia. The beach is well known for its fishing, mostly salmon and mullet, and also popular for its surfing. Due to the strong undercurrents and rips it is not recommended as a swimming beach. You would only want to surf here if you really know what you are doing and are a very experienced surfer. You can access the beach via an elevated walkway and walk along the sand as you watch the waves roll in and take in the natural beauty of this relatively wild beach.

04.01.2022 Who loves a good road trip? This Royal Flair Aussie Mate certainly does! It’s making its way along Matilda Way - a fully sealed 1812km highway that stretches from the NSW border all the way to the Gulf of Carpentaria, from Cunnamulla to Karumba. Four days is a comfortable drive for the road trip, depending on how long you spend discovering the unique charms of each township. Along Matilda Way there are secrets to be discovered and experiences to be had as you take in the ra...w history of the region and natural wonders of the vast and ancient landscapes. There are plenty of side trips you can take along the route that will add to your outback experience. This photo was taken by Free to Explore after leaving the Burke & Wills Roadhouse. The Burke & Wills Roadhouse breaks the trip between Cloncurry and Normanton on the Matilda Way and is so named after the route taken by the ill-fated explorers. Follow the adventures of @freetoexplore.co to get inspiration for your next trip.
