Dad and Zali’s epic adventure along the Plenty Highway 813km driven in one day with - one smashed wagon door window - one broken tap fitting so lost all our water - dust through out entire car But with these photos who bloody cares as this is just stuff!

23.01.2022 Great time away at Lennox Heads in our On The Move Caravans 20’6 Dirtroader this weekend. Soaking up the sun, driving the beach, food, drinks and swimming at the waterfalls. Starting your day with a tasty gourmet BBQ breakfast before your daily adventures is a fantastic way to go. After a big day out it’s great to come back to your van and spend a comfortable evening getting refreshed for the next days explorations. Spotting other Caravan HQ family members in the park is also awesome. Hope all our Caravan HQ customers had a great weekend also and remember to tag us in you photos when making memories in your vans.

22.01.2022 Caravan HQ were On The Move Caravans delivering the 21’6 Club Lounge to its new home on the top of the world. It climbed an elevation of 180m in 1km of narrow twisting road to sit above one of the most spectacular views in SEQ. We are sure that Michelle and Nico will enjoy living and relaxing in their wonderful club lounge with a coffee and a beautiful sunrise. 19.01.2022 Wanting to know some of the best Camp spots in Australia ??.... then make sure you LIKE and FOLLOW US to see ALL the amazing locations. We spent last night... free camping at Archer Point not to far South of Cooktown. There was tonnes of mint spots around and lots of people as it’s Queensland School Holidays. There is a cute little box lighthouse at the top of the hill. The sunset was as epic as the Sunrise. It was a little windy, we found a sheltered spot which was a little protected, however we still got the drones up and had a quick fish (caught nothing). We had fish (which we caught at Roko) shallow fried in the camp oven and spuds in the fire . Star gazed at night. Nearly burnt the van down in the morning boiling eggs (thankful for the fire alarm and swift fire training from my nursing days.) One more night and our Cape Trip is done. What a trip..... what a beautiful part of the country. Amazing people, memories for a lifetime! Perfect overnight stop over. Guess where we are headed next?

18.01.2022 One of the best FREE campgrounds in QLD so far after 10 months fulltime on the road Leichart Falls ...(no water flowing) but geez it was spectacular. Su...nset fire, wallabies hopping everywhere and fish jumping outta the water. Sunrise was even better. Drone controller decided it wanted to quit on life. Might be the heat so won’t be any drone shots for a bit. They would have been spectacular. Anyways good excuse to come back here. It’s about 70kma from Burketown and we were driving from Normanton. Nearly worth an extra night to experience the Sunset and Sunrise all over again! If you take the van, walk it first as there was some super soft sand and we help some people who were bogged this morning!

18.01.2022 Yesterday we were fortunate enough to check out Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Lake Amadeus from above with a hour helicopter ride with the team at Professional Helico...pter Services. We definitely were in awe of the formations and love being able to experience the beauty of the red centre. In case you wanted to know more about these amazing natural wonders below is some interesting facts Uluru is one of Australia's most recognisable natural landmarks. The sandstone formation stands 348 m high, rising 863 m above sea level with most of its bulk lying underground, and has a total perimeter of 9.4 km Uluru is notable for appearing to change colour at different times of the day and year, most notably when it glows red at dawn and sunset. It was also surprising that part of the rock was over 50 million years older than the other. Lake Amadeus is a large salt lake in the southwest corner of Northern Territory of Australia, about 50 kilometres north of Uluru. Due to the aridity of the area, the surface of Lake Amadeus is usually a dry salt crust. In times of sufficient rainfall, it is part of an east-flowing drainage system that eventually connects to the Finke River. Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga or the Olgas, lies 25 km west of Uluru. The 36 domes that make up Kata Tjua cover an area of 21.68 km2 are composed of conglomerate, a sedimentary rock consisting of cobbles and boulders of varying rock types including granite and basalt, cemented by a matrix of sandstone.

16.01.2022 Foelshe River Free Camp NT We we’re fortunate enough to have this campsite all to ourselves. The campsite is overlooking Foelshe River and would be big enou...gh to fit three large caravans comfortably. The area was clean and free of rubbish and you would need to be self sufficent as no facilities. We enjoyed a swim down in the water below and created a dam like structure in the shallow water to ensure we had no unfriendly visitors. The water was clean and clear with a decent current that was refreshing after a day travelling. We travelled from Hells Gate QLD and a tip would be that you need to have a good off-road setup as the roads are very corrugated and washed out in a number of areas. Also it would not be easily accessed during most of the wet season This is a great spot to stay overnight

05.01.2022 CHECK THIS OUT Southern Lost City Campgrounds is one of the five camping areas within the Limmen National Park. The site has bush camping with basic facili...ties and a walking track. The Park offers a wonderful remote experience featuring amazing sandstone formations, river systems and associated wetlands, and it is also steeped in culture and history. To really experience the location make sure you have your walking shoes packed and trek the 2.7km track in and around the stone pillars. 03.01.2022 Our next stop along the Nathan River Road in the Limmen National Park is Towns River campground with some unofficial sites right on the waters edge. An absolute...ly amazing spotwith toilets and site for just $6.60 for a family! Bargain $$ Although we were not able to catch any fish we could definitely see big barramundi sitting under the rivers edge.
