17.01.2022 Anyone out there looking for a FREE camping spot! Take a look into ' Long beach - kingston SA ' . Turn left just after you enter the 110km/h zone as you head north out of Kingston. . Unique camping experience - enjoy the solitude of your very own stretch of beach.... . Sand is hard for several kilometres along the beach, but obviously use good judgement when choosing to drive and/or camp on it. (Also be aware of incoming tides!) . Safe swimming and fishing. People like to watch and be .. somewhat, nosy! ... 4. The toilets stink in the morning :-) 5. Someone will always know more than you, whether its spots or views or even the best priced petrol in AUS! 6. The honeymoon is over, being in a confined space 24/7 can test the strongest relationships, so either go for a walk and clear your head, or just have a good old fight and add to the caravan parks entertainment. 7. 04.01.2022 Useful tips for you guys! . Not all tow bars are created the same, so you will need to select a towbar that can handle your caravan plus more (as it will weigh more when packed) . If you are going to be towing with an automatic vehicle, you should invest in a new oil cooler. Too many people get hit with problems just hours into their trip - the price you'll pay for an oil cooler will be cheaper than a new gearbox

03.01.2022 2 brief tips to always remember! . Keep in mind when deciding if your towing vehicle can handle the caravan that equipment such as water, food, camping gear etc will generally add another 300kg to the weight of the empty caravan . Packing some blocks of wood is a good idea, in case your site is on uneven ground

If your looking to get away for one weekend, and don't feel like driving for hours on end, travel 2 hours south of Adelaide and you will find not only a stunning spot to set up camp or park your big caravan, but it is also extremely cheap per night! There is plenty to do if your up for a short drive or walk, or even if you just want to sit around the fire, it accommodates all types of daily activities. Excellent spot here guys, great scenery, good for having a dip or just relaxing on the side, only two downsides to this place would be no water for drinking and no shower, but in fairness, that's an easy fix! ... Where: 17km north east of paringa, SA Pet friendly: Yes Toilets: No Shade: Yes Shower: No Water: No Fire: No Caravan and big rig: Yes Mobile reception: No Directions: Access camp site via Paringa-Murtho Road & Headings Road. Drive 4 km on dirt road and you will find it beside the river. ENJOY!
