24.01.2022 To all our beloved anglers and followers, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the 2020 Bjelke-Petersen Inland Classic is officially cancelled due to ongoi...ng safety concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic. While this was a very difficult decision to make, we are absolutely certain that this is the choice that had to be made. We as a committee have a due diligence to also assist in ways to lessen the impact on our great region. It is also unfair on our amazing sponsors who kindly donate all of our prizes to run the event and put even more pressure on a slowly recovering economy. With this being said we as a committee are currently working on the 2021 Bjelke-Petersen inland classic to make this the biggest event we have put together so far. We are already speaking with sponsors for future opportunities and look forward to what the future brings for the Bjelke-Petersen inland classic and all anglers. We are so grateful for all of you who attend and participate in our family event. While it is disappointing to cancel this year's event we look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces next year knowing the event next year will be better than ever. Stay healthy, take care of each other, keep on casting and we will see you all very soon.

22.01.2022 NANANGO CUP is being held on 12 September 2020. Fashion theme is "Classic Spring Racewear" with spot prized being handed out on the day and selected by our my...stery judges. Bar, BBQ, canteen and TAB will all be operational on the day. Please keep in mind that the government Covid-19 regulations will be in place on the day as well.

18.01.2022 Kingaroy Aero Modellers annual fly-in is coming up ... and this year the fun event will also be an opportunity to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation in support of a club member who is undergoing treatment.

06.01.2022 Urgent protection measures are in place after an increase of COVID-19 cases were reported in Queensland. In Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset,... Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 10 people. Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people. Venues and events following COVID Safe Industry Plans can continue operating. Visits to aged care and disability accommodation services in Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounds will be limited. Emergency departments will be required to use PPE to treat all patients and hospital visitors will be limited as soon as possible.
