17.01.2022 Fantastic to see Ocean Knight enjoying life after racing! His career was short lived and unfortunately due to injury he never realised his untapped potential. At one point, he was Lindsay Park’s No 1 seed for the Caulfield Guineas before injuring himself in the Danehill Stakes, exactly 3 years ago on the weekend. That’s racing but thankfully he has a forever home thanks to the generosity of Lindsay Park. A big thanks to David, Tom and Ben for looking after him!

17.01.2022 It’s been 7 long months for the owners of Mystery Love who have waited anxiously to see whether their girl would return to her best after a disappointing Spring when she tasted defeat for the first time in her short career. When she stepped out at Caulfield today, it had been over 12 months since her last win, a stakes win in the Bendigo Guineas. All the signs at trackwork suggested she was back to her old self. But race day is always different. Had she lost that zest to win.... Was her body going to let her down when it mattered. Those doubts were put to bed in a matter of strides. When Ollie let the hand break go at the 400m, the race was over in a couple of bounds! Mystery Love pinned her ears back, hit overdrive and announced her return in emphatic fashion! It was pretty to watch For many of Mystery Love’s owners, today was their first ever victory at Caulfield so well done! For those that have tasted Caulfield success before (ie Dennis Foley, Dave Barhram and co), I am sure it still tastes just as sweet! A big thanks to Jess Barton and Mark Young for an outstanding job pre-training her and re-building her strength. To Mick/Michael and everyone at Mick Price Racing, a sterling job by all concerned! And we shouldn’t forget D Oliver..the consummate professional! Great to have him on team Carbine!

Every win is special but when it’s your first ever racehorse, it’s extra special! We have 10 first time owners in High Delta and didn’t they enjoy the day (and night) . A big thanks to Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace who have been supremely patient with ‘Danny’ giving him plenty of time to mature and ‘trim up’ before taking him to the races. 02.01.2022 BOOMSTOCK notched up win No 3 today and took his earnings over $100k thanks to a 10/10 ride by Jamie Kah. Jamie and Bomstock are quite the team..they have partnered up for 7 races for 2 wins and 4 placings! A touch maligned at times, one cannot doubt Boomstock's endeavour and consistency.
