14.01.2022 We are doing everything we possibly can to ensure and educate ourselves and our staff so that they are not putting themselves or customers at risk of contracting or spreading the virus. Our location - We are located in a commercial kitchen within Dockside Apartments @ Kangaroo Point. We do not have a retail outlet for off the street / random customers attending on site/premise. I can confirm that ourselves and staff:- HAVE NOT recently travelled to any of these countri...es: Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Europe, Asia, USA HAVE NOT had contact with anyone who has or is suspected of having the virus HAVE NOT had exposure as listed above, and ARE NOT experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 including fever, a cough, sore throat, tiredness or shortness of breath We have re-iterated to our staff, suppliers and delivery drivers (suppliers included) that it is of upmost importance to:- - wash hands / sanitise hands on entry to ours and customers premises, or wear gloves on arrival to customers and dispose of gloves following delivery; - carry antibacterial wipes in vehicles to wipe steering wheel, hands etc; - advise if any symptoms become known and self-isolate immediately; - limit travel or contact with people from high risk countries; - minimise gatherings at large events; - minimise unnecessary contact; - restrain from touching your face. I am gluten intolerant and usually do not have much luck when it comes to provided catering. I wanted to let you know how amazing the food was in general, but the gluten free options I was given were so delicious and hands down the best GF catering I have received. 06.01.2022 This morning I was reflecting on the year that has been. I remembered that before the Coronavirus craziness started, we donated funds to purchase Christmas Presents for a Columbian Community / a "Fabela" as Pablo says which means a poor suburb. ... Pablo, our star kitchen hand, returned home to Columbia for Christmas and funds donated by Carbon Base were enough to buy gifts for 94 children! They also purchased soccer balls and played with the children and then donated them... too. ... This makes my heart flutter to see how happy these children are. Unfortunately they had a busy morning at Cannonhill, fortunately our meals are made fresh and taste great reheated!
