18.01.2022 So great to see initiatives like Seed Lab putting serious money towards demonstrating the power of public art to drive positive social change. Congratulations to the Land Art Generator Initiative for being awarded a place at the table.
17.01.2022 It is important to incorporate art into our daily lives to think non-linearly, to express, to appreciate, and to show our emotion. To think creatively about complex problems and to invite participation from others to solve those quandaries together. The data on climate change can be overwhelming.... Art is tangible. It gives people an avenue to have conversations about topics that are difficult to discuss. Art prompts questions and ideas, it gets people thinking and feeling. You get to decide how you interact with art and to interpret meaning for yourself.
17.01.2022 "The evaporation cycle that pulls water across the entire surface of the Earth up into the atmosphere ebbs and flows with the cycle of the sun. Hydra-Spore Symbiont is a beautiful microcosm of this elegant system that brings greater awareness of it while generating carbon-free electricity from its power." Elizabeth Monoian and Robert Ferry #LAGI2018 City Of Port Phillip

09.01.2022 Our curators are artists who understand that the ways we frame our problems are often the problem. We seek to act as death doulas of the familiar, to help open up new modes of perception, engagement and responsiveness in a time of crisis. With your support, we are creating a broad coalition of postactivists who are listening to the troubling call for other ways of acting with the world. - The Emergence Network http://www.emergencenetwork.org
