22.01.2022 A little update on our Winter Planting program. Finally, the rain arrived and allowed us to progress with our planned hand planting at the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. The team planted about 20,000 seedlings of 37 species at this property, all of them indigenous to the region. ... We are looking good to reach our target this season, taking our total area of the reforestation project to 13,500ha.

18.01.2022 At the end of 2019, we collected tree and shrub seeds indigenous to the region for our Winter Planting Program in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Before planting, we need to prepare our seeds so that they are suitable for direct seeding. The seeds collected are treated in a few ways depending on the species. Seeds such as the Acacias are hot water treated then dried in the sun, while others such as Eucalyptus seeds are smoke treated.

17.01.2022 This World Environment Day the UNEP is calling for us to take action to protect the planet's biodiversity. "We are intimately interconnected with nature. If we don’t take care of nature, we can’t take care of ourselves." What are you doing to make sure the environment will still be there for future generations?

17.01.2022 Skate parks are a fantastic asset for the community, creating a space for kids (and not-so-big-kids!) to exercise and play. But, all that concrete is not the best for the climate. So, how do we get the best of both worlds? Find out how Brad Kasch at Drover Projects Pty Ltd is making it happen.

15.01.2022 Over the past few months we have been propagating our seeds at Parnell's Nursery in Tincurrin. Approximately 145k seedlings, of 37 tree and shrub species, are now ready to be planted in the ground. After the first decent rainfall at our panting site our planting site in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor the seedlings will be transported and hand planted by our team. The recent storm bought a lot of wind to the mid-west region but not quite enough rain. We know it will come soon, but in the meantime, we are doing rain dances.

10.01.2022 Fantastic work by the team at Red Hill Auditorium to create Australia's first carbon negative venue. We are honoured to have their support of our reforestation project in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.

09.01.2022 The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an economic crash and a health crisis across the globe. But what about the environment? Do you think we should be pausing our fight against the climate crisis or working towards a green recovery?

08.01.2022 It's so good to see these guys in the news today! In Hearts Wake have been taking steps to minimise the environmental impact of their music and touring for several years, and have been involved with our Plant-a-Tree program. This year they purchased carbon credits from us to offset the recording of their recent album KALIYUGA.... "The cost to offset is far less than you might think. It’s not an insurmountable task", lead singer Jake Taylor told triple j Rock on fellas!

05.01.2022 Are you an ocean lover? Today, June 8 is World Oceans Day, and we encourage you to help protect the blue planet. By reducing carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions that are contributing to our climate crisis, you can help to keep the planet's ecosystems alive and protect the homes of sea and land creatures. Together we can protect our home http://www.worldoceansday.org

04.01.2022 Planting trees is something we've been doing for a while now. Planting native tree and shrub species not only helps restore the natural biodiversity of cleared land, but it also sequesters carbon from the atmosphere. In celebration of Earth Day last month our CEO, Ray Wilson, talked to CGTN about our reforestation program in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.
