25.01.2022 Fixed up some running issues on this nice F100 today. 302 efi engine with 600holley and hei ignition auto.. Nice ride

24.01.2022 Also looked at this powerful 393 Ford today. Engine has some low speed misfires so owner with fit new alternator and coil then I will recalibrate carby and get its power back. Really like this one..

24.01.2022 Fixed up this fantastic XT 200ci single barrel stromberg points ignition auto today..had very low ignition timing and inadequate idle and off-idle fueling.. symptoms were stalling hesitations etc.. just love working on these old cars.. a real pleasure

23.01.2022 Fitted recon and recoloured stromberg to restored Holden today. Guys at Dickers did a fantastic job on this ute... a real credit to them.

21.01.2022 New ignition fitted to the 265 so we started to tune today and made some good progress.. will change the baseplate on the carby next week and finish off..

17.01.2022 Back on the tools today after 3 months off.. 429ci with quadrajet issues.. So good to be back on the cars..

17.01.2022 Started looking at this beauty today. Chevy with 327ci 650dp msd ignition auto.. Once new dizzy with vacuum advance is in we will tune it up.. Very nice ride..

15.01.2022 Nice example of some fine motoring history.. wasn’t running to good but it is now.. It sure is a pleasure to drive old iron .. 225 slant auto with 350 holley.

13.01.2022 Finished this all Ford day with this classic example .. engine had new components fitted.. carby,dizzy coil etc.. but wasn’t running correctly.. owner couldn’t drive it,so diagnosed the problem and now is driving very nicely.. This is a very clean example indeed!

10.01.2022 Tuned this beautiful XC today.. original Fairmont 302c auto with a Holley.. Had stalling and poor running conditions,now drives nice and smooth.. Great car,even smells new..

06.01.2022 Started looking at this unreal valiant today,what a beautiful car inside and out! 265 auto 350 holley with hei ignition. New dizzy and coil going in after much elimination.. then we will finish it off.. Great car!

05.01.2022 70 year old carb correct 1-1/32 for fj Holden rebuilding for client.. it wouldn’t run properly... haha.. just about every fuel and air passage was blocked with gunk..been sitting for 30 years.. Ready now for kit and test..

02.01.2022 Just finished looking at this fantastic F100 with a 347 Windsor crate motor and auto. 600 holley with msd ignition .. Drives quite nice but needs more power for what it is so we are adding vacuum advance to it along with different plugs and different coil.. Once we have done this then we will test a new carby .. It’s a beautiful car and a nice crate motor out of the states.

02.01.2022 Went over this great rod today. 350 chev with twin 500cfm edelbrock carbs and electronic ignition. Engine had misfires on one bank etc.. Started looking at stuff and found advance not working correctly as well as idle fueling needing adjustment. Engine is low compression engine and combined with excess carbon and low voltage at the plugs ..2 plugs were carbon tracking causing misfires..... Rod drives nice now, but moving forward will get new alternator and CDI ignition system then we will tune the carbys and gain more smoother power and idle characteristics.. Great ride! See more
