05.01.2022 Holden Barina Spark MJ, this is the second one in a month with firewall cracks, the clutch starts to slip and mechanics who dont know these vehicles adjust it, this adds to the pressure on the firewall and it cracks, the only way is to remove the front bumper, cross member, engine and gearbox assembly. Then we weld up the cracks and weld in a strengthening plate before fitting a new clutch cable and re assembling the vehicle.
